Gym Challenge On Jun 25th: Speed DragTrode

Hey Yall...I choose my deck that im going to use it my Dark Heart deck. I'll find that my Gardevoir deck didnt have a bigger chance of winning then my Dark Heart. I didnt put Pidgeot in this deck because i didnt think it was need after all my deck testing. I was thinking of putting a Crystal shard in just 4 tech against mirror matches that i might play against my Gym Challenge. So Here my deck List

PKMN-19
3 Dark Dragonite RR
3 Dark Dragonair RR1
3 Dratini RR2
3 Voltorb RG
3 Dark Electrode RR
1 Rocket's Scyther ex
3 Rocket's Sneasel ex

Trainer-26
3 Rocket's Poké Ball
3 Steven's Advice
2 Copycat
3 Rare Candy
2 Celio Network
3 Dual Ball
3 Lanette's Net Search
1 Scott
2 Rocket's Hideout
2 Desert Ruins
1 Warp Point
1 Crystal Shard

Energy-15
4 Dark Metal Energy
4 Darkness Energy RS
4 Rainbow Energy
3 R Energy

I Really like this deck is fast and fix me but it might need some little help....i add Crystal shard 4 tech against mirror matches

Pokemon: 20
3 Dunsparce
3 Dratini
3 Dark Dragonair
3 Dark Dragonite
3 Voltorb
3 Dark Electrode
2 Rocket's Sneasel ex

Trainers: 25
3 Steven's Advice
3 Rocket Ball
2 Rare Candy
2 Copycat
2 Wally's Training
2 TV Reporter
2 Desert Ruins
1 Rocket's Hideout
1 Ancient Tomb
2 Mr. Briney's Compassion
1 ATM: Rock
2 Warp Point
1 Scott
1 Swoop! Teleporter

Energy: 15
4 Darkness
4 Dark Metal
4 Rainbow
3 R. Energy

My Dark Heart Does Fine without Pidgeot and the 3 Dunsparce work really good because i dont have to worry so much of topdecking a Dunsparce when not need.

Hey, here is my fix
-1 Warp
-2 Wally's
-1 R
+1 Sparce
+2 Swoop
+1 Shard
Swoop will help this deck be more consistant. Shard does help in Mirror, i know that for a fact.

2 Admin or Pro. Oak's Research(Your Preference)
4 Rocket Ball (or 3 Rocket Ball and c below)
2 Rare Candy
2 Desert Ruin
2 Tricky Gym or Hideout (Your Choice)
1 Retriever (Gotta have at least one JIC)
1 Super Scoop Up
2 Warp Point
1 Scott (Or no Scott and c below)
BELOW:
2 Crystal Shard

This might help out some for you! The only other Suggestion would in the Final PLace n the deck (as with my changes you have exactly 1 spot) add the R. Scyther EX to take care of Grass weak Pokes! Straight Draw in this deck I am finding works better than Shuffle draw do to D.Electrode and D.Dragonair thinning it, you will get enough shuffle from that!

Hope it works, but Draggy is more of a Personal touch deck with what you feel works for you. IMHO though, TVR is a BAD choice as there is very little you want to deliberately discard!

Make it a speed draggy, or a pidgeot draggy. The lsit with dunsparce is mainly for pidgeot versions, speed draggy is alot better if you dont like pidgeot.

you drop the duns, any swoops you have... and run trainers like this

4 rocket ball
3 lanette
3 dual ball
3 wally/celio/whatever
draw power
2 retriever(or 1)
2 warp point(briney?)

etc.

something like that, you use trainers instead of sparce. sparce you need 4 of, and 2 swoops, but if you ran 6 searching trainers, it's technically more consistent, because you don't need to swoop out for sparce, and you dont need to retriever back vital pokemon.

sar also wastes a turn, and a slot on the bench.

What is your gym challenge location? I can get some idea of what type of metagame you're in and make your deck stronger.

This is all personal preference but personally, I prefer Draggy/Sparce/Swoop!/Wally over this as I find it hard to get out all the basics you need w/o sparce. In sparce version, drop dual balls/lanettes and add 4 wallys, 4 swoops, and drop sneasel to 1

Okay, for the current list: I like it, but try this: -2 celio's, +1 rocket's poke ball, then take out all copycat and change it to +3 rocket's admin.

If your running speed DragTrode, you can try my deck list... it went undefeated in the OKlahoma Gym Challenge...

Pokemon:(19)

3 Dratini
3 Dark Dragonair
3 Dark Dragonite
3 Voltorb
3 Dark Electrode
2 Rocket's Sneazle Ex
1 Rocket's Scyther Ex
1 Regirock Ex(HL)

Trainers:(26)

3 Steven's Advice
3 Rocket's Admin.
3 TV Reporter
3 Lanette's Net Search
1 Briney's Compasion
2 Ancient Tomb
2 Rocket's Hideout
1 Crystal Shard
1 Pokemon Retriever
3 Rocket's Pokeball
2 Dual Ball
2 Switch

Energy:(15)

4 Dark
4 Dark Metal
4 Rainbow
3 R Energy

I know your thinking why Regirock Ex... It's because of Rocklock, Slaking, and Exploud; most of the DragTrode Hate decks.... 1 hit KO for Dark Ampharos, Dark T-tar, Slaking and Exploud; and trust me, it helps out alot... The only downfall is the fact that it takes 2 fighting, so I would have to draw two rainbow, but with the speed of the deck, i can get them very quickly... I was also think about taking out a Pokemon Retriever for a crystal shard depending on the how many Dragonite decks are being played or Salamence... If there aren't that many Dargonite or Salamence decks then I would put in another Dual Ball or Steven's Advice...

yes you would manually do it... but don't play the other rainbow until your gonna knock it out... And yes they can bring up another slaking but that's when you bring up your sneazle... you dont' want to bring it up first because it will have most of your dark energies... i've played it against slaking and regirock works well

i dont think regirock is really needed in this deck and plus it start dieing if i play desert ruin or if someone plays it on me so that dont really help and i was think of take out celio network and put back in tv Reporter
