Okay, this combo just popped into my head, and since there's no chance of me going to worlds(boy, I suck) I might as well start practicing

strategy: hopefully start with paras, call for sunkern and chikorita next turn evolve to parsect and start building until they get the KO, then send up megex/sunflora and start pounding. I believe meganium's power lets me attach an extra energy for each one out. I'll post the link to the spoiler in a few seconds...

I honestly feel Swoop! Teleporter will be a staple in any good deck in the next format. How many times does someone lose because they start with a lone pidgey or lone whatever and not dunsparce? Too many times. This is how I would run this deck. I am going on the feeling that the format will be FRLG.

Wait, does that give the trainer an extra energy attachment and then allows them to remove a damage counter? Or does it allow the trainer to remove a damage counter if they use the regular energy attachment for a grass energy?

It gives the player an extra energy attachement per Meganium EX on that side of the field.

are they REALLY printing that in UF? couldn't find it anywhere in the pokemonlabs spoiler. i thought of using a list like this post-rotation and i used VenuEx instead of meg, to make it more like a grass version of dark heart. but i think meg would be much better. and...parasect sux. esp l8 game. "20 ur poisoned go." "70 (could be more) ko go." "sad face. i thought my parasect would go all the way."

BTW...MA and HL will be rotating out. I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubbles, but the next format will not contain those two sets. lets take a look at the sets that were legal last year:

EXP, AQU, SKY, R/S, SS, DR, MA, HL

Now let's look at the sets that will be legal this year:

R/S, SS, DR, MA, HL, FRLG, TRR, DX, EM

see the sets in red? those sets were all released in the '03-'04 season. EXP-SKY were released in '02-'03. catch my drift?

basically, PUI releases sets in blocks. each block is legal for 2 seasons, then is rotated out. the first set in the new block is released in August/September, followed by one in November/December, then one in february/ march, then one in May. Then all those sets are legal for worlds, and all sets that were legal in the last worlds are rotated out to make room for the new sets being released in the new season. MA and HL are in the block from the '03-'04 season, and must be rotated to make room for the '05-06 season sets. This system works for Magic, and should work for Pokemon.

I don't have the money to buy loads of packs or single EX's, so I would really want to see those half decks in US.

Please don't turn this into a "what will the next format be?" thread, those really get on my nerves, and I've got PUI info, so I'm just gonna go on what they say, for now, anyway. Okay, -2 parasect(might reduce speed somewhat) and plus 2 prof. elm's training method.
