Extra energy through Poke-Powers

Blaziken Firestarter and Gardevoir Psyshadow were really excellent cards (IMHO) which some strategies were built on. I don't see any new cards replacing these abilities in the legal series when they are no longer legal.
Will that be the end of extra energy placement (to any of your Pokemon) through Pokepowers (from the bench) ?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for responding

I was looking at the Pokemon listed and each one has some form of limitation (although Firestarter had the limitation of adding only to a benched Pokemon, but it could be any benched Pokemon,
and Gardevior had the limitation that you have to add 2 damage counters to your Pokemon that you psyshadowed, to although I really liked this )

Metagross can only add to the active Pokemon

Walrein can only add to a Pokemon if the top card of your deck is an energy card (you would need another line like Magcargo to ensure it is, or just take the chance)

Dark Electrode can only attach energy to itself, and relies on Dark Dragonite to move it

Blastoise is really good with unlimited adding, but can only be added from your hand

Typhlosion is only when you play Typhlosion from your hand

Meganium is also really good that you can add one and you heal for 1 damage counter, but it's from your hand as well

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to hope they give some Pokemon psyshadow again

Yeah there's always gonna be a limitation, taking all those into a consideration a power with no limitation would mean a free energy from the deck, onto any Pokémon with no self-damage, kinda broken really.

Typhlosion and meganium woud, at first sight, seem to have the best attachment abilities.
