Smile My first attempt at Acid Liability (Unlimited)

Hi all. I was just thinking about replacing my Ninjask/Aerodactyl deck when I thought of this deck.
This deck (well, you've seen a lot around already) is Victreebel-Weezing deck.
I'm having Problems right now.
Here's the decklist.

Energy (16):
12x (G) Energy
4x Warp Energy

Pokemon (17):
4x Bellsprout
3x Weepinbell
2x Victreebel
3x Koffing
3x Weezing
2x Ditto

Trainer (27):
3x Pokemon Retriever
3x MooMoo Milk
3x Celio's network
3x Copycat
2x Professor Elm
3x Pokemon Flute
4x Gust of Wind
3x Warp Point
3x VS Seeker

Yeah, probably lame.
Here's the strategy:
First off, well, build on Weezing and Victreebel. Then, gust out an EX (Basic preferably) and KO it with Liability and Acid Sampler. Then, Pokemon Flute it back and gust it out again and another shot of Liability and Acid Sampler. Ditto's useful to switch into Koffing from Discard Pile then use Pokemon Retriever and take Weezing, then evolve Koffing.

Any thoughts?

Here is how I would run the deck in unlimited :

Energy (16):
8x (G) Energy
4x DRE
2x Scramble
2x Warp Energy

Pokemon (17):
3x Bellsprout
2x Weepinbell
3x Victreebel
3x Koffing
3x Weezing
4x Wurmple ( DRG )

Trainer (27):
2x Pokemon Retriever
3x MooMoo Milk
4x Celio's network / Pokemon Trader
3x Copycat
3x Professor Elm
1x Admin
2x Pokemon Flute
4x Gust of Wind
4x Rare Candy

The changes I have made will make it alot faster and more consistant...I would run candy in here too just to get that possibility of a FTKO Combo off with Victreebel and weezing. Ditto to me is good but I like wurple better....Gets your bench set up way faster that ditto could ever think about doing.

Lemme know how this works out...I have to get to class =)

This is a useless comment, but...
OMG!!!! THIS IS THE 1ST DECK I SEE THAT USES POKÉ FLUTE!!!!!!!!
...Okay, back to the topic. Looks good to me. But you should try to use at least Item Finder, no? Pull back the Flutes (OMG!!!!) or any other Trainer you need....

Well, im from Argentina, and it seems that the USA unlimited metagame is very diferent from here, and its OK, but...Why you use this trainers? Why moo-moo milke if you have gold berry?? Why Pokemon retriever if you have Town Volounters? Why 8 suporters that you wont use more than 1 in a turn if you have Computer Search, Itemfinder.
And i never saw a deck without prof Oak, or Cleffa or even babies, you´ll also like some Energy Removals and Super energy removals.

Maybe he wants to be "original" and not "mainstream" like everyone else or its possible he doesnt have the means to get all those awseome cards like CS, IF, PO, ER, SER and cleffa. Yes I would definitely use CS and IF, but on the Town Volunteers, its just another supporter that would take away from the others. The gold berry I agree, I was at school and was not thinking straight ( college will do that to you sometimes during a test week ). DC, on the other hand, is a good card but I tend to go with versatile cards rather than nonversatile cards, so DRE IMO is a better choice.

From what I have seen of our Metagame in unlimited, we still use those cards almost to a extent of boredom. So why not new ways of playing cards, keeps the imagination sharp .

Just IMO

Good deck. Maybe go alil less supporter heavy in unlimited.

IMO grass isn't worth it in unlimited, entei cargo destroys anything weak to fire.

i agree with gunycabj because i am from Argentina too and to tell you the truth your unlimited decks(USA) are very poor... here our best decks are with Vileplume ex or Wigglytuff ex. Instead of using prof elm you should use Prof oak or computer search...
bye

Cool deck but I dont understand the point of Pokemon Flute. Why bring back a Pokemon from the dead and gust and kill it? Why not just gust and kill whatever else is in play?

You can bring back a basic ex like suicune ex(popular in unlimted) and gust+kill, or bring back an easy prize if you need one to win.

Or if you don't have enough damage, you can gust+kill, or you can flute back a high retreat and stall a bit

With computer search, a tech flute can do quite well.

hmm yea good point about the basic ex.

But besides that I would think there's no problem about doing enough damage to KO, since liability OHKOs everything.

I prefer Pokemon Retriever than Town Volunteers because:
a. It's a non-Supporter.
b. It's flexible because I can choose whether to put in my hand straight away oy shuffle into my deck.
c. I can use as many as I want in a turn.
d. This deck uses less Energy cards, so I don't need some more from teh discard pile.

And I don't think Scramble would fit in this deck because this deck kills quick.
Nahuelarce, I'm not from USA, you know...

Well, first things first. Where are the staples?

Add 4 Cleffa, Computer Search, Item Finder, and Professor Oak. Of course there is more but for now thats a must.

If you say you cannot get them, check Ebay or people with older crap. Online stores are too expensive for the old stuff, 10 bucks for Computer Search and so forth. But if you look for them, you will find them dirt cheap.

It's creative, I will give it that. But if all decks you play are like this, it's fine. Unlimited isn't a booming format.

For serious unlimited play (I made myself laugh..) you would need to invest some time in reading up on the better decklists. Especially Vileplume Ex, Slowking, possibly Wigglytuff Ex. The format itself is not really exploding, so paying 20 bucks now will ensure you to have a deck for at least a year or more.

-PS-
You cannot base all American unlimited decks off the second post. Pojo (Not the greatest site on the net..) has a few good write ups on ulimited for just the two decks you talked about. Wiggly and Plume', but with such a lack of unlimited support and tourneys it's not like it matters really.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. In a local tourny area (a tourney is held weekly there), several cards are banned, you know:
a. DCE
b. Computer Search
c. Item Finder
d. Pokemon Breeder
e. SER

So, don't suggest them.
I dunno what kind of rule they're making there but I think they don't allow broken cards.
I mean, if you don't believe me, ask flyboy.

I tried using this deck at a tourny and I won 4 battles out of 6.
The deck that I tried is somewhat different from the original idea:

Energy (17):
13x (G) Energy
4x Warp Energy

Pokemon (18):
4x Bellsprout
3x Weepinbell
3x Victreebel
4x Koffing
4x Weezing

Trainer (25):
3x Pokemon Retriever
3x MooMoo Milk
3x Celio's network
3x Copycat
2x Desert Ruins
4x Gust of Wind
3x Fluffy Berry
2x VS Seeker

Well, this is going quite great. I didn't use Pokemon Flute bacause not many people used Basic ex.
