Now if you play liability, and have that attached, does weezing not get the 70 damage?
There's a 99% chance that translation is a little off, it's prolly gonna say ignore all effects of opponent's attacks

But it isn't even an effect of an attack either way... Weezing does damage to itself.

I thought putting damage counters was an effect.

That's correct. Anything an attack does is considered an effect.

Yeah it would block the opponent's Weezings but I think pokemon211 was asking if it stopped your own Weezing taking damage.

And since Weezing does damage to itself, it wouldn't block it.

I refears to an opponents effect, and if not, Weezing does 70 damage himself, its not putting counters on it so its not an effect

That would make the most sense because otherwise it might be a little to powerful. I couldn't see them making it so that its all effects period. But yeah since it does damage to itself, not damage counters it does get by the Holon's effect.

Pokemon 211, Holon Energy says that if the Pokemon it's attached to has any Grass BECs attached to it, to ignore all effects of an opponent's attack (excluding damage) done to that Pokemon. It mimics Regice's Crystal Body. A Weezing with Holon Energy attached would still do 70 damage to itself with Liability, but an opposing Pokemon with Holon Energy attached would take no damage from Liability. (Unless, of course, it was an ex, but then why would it have Holon Energy attached?)
