New Pokemon CMG coming to Germany in 2006

Unveiled today at the Essen Game Convention:

http://www.amigo-spiele.de/PM_News_S...iel_1005.Amigo

http://www.amigo-spiele.de/PM_SFS_Vo...?ActiveID=1036

Looks like a collectible miniatures game (is CMG the right abbreviation?)...

you know...
you could modify those by taking them apart and putting a different thing in to track HP so you can use this in the tcg...
this, of course, coming from someone who modd'ed his calculator =P

Yeah, that looks a lot like a game I saw from Japan. I was really wanting to see it come over from there, and maybe this is a sign it will. Wow, looks awesome, and the figurines are cool enough just to collect.

Those look like those v-trainer things that were released in the US, already. You placed the figure on the little machine and you battled each other. There are new ones like those that show the pokemon attacking, as the pose.

They (or something very similar) has been out in Japan for a year or so. I bought a box at Origins and got a Blastoise in it.

The game discription doesn't sound very interesting, but the figures are nice.

The game itself is really cool... we'll host a demo corner of the game during Lucca Comics & Games 2005, last weekend of October :)

I found this in the Trading Post. I'd like to think he was talking about Pokemon cards, but there might be some other sort of trade going on here...

Well, if they're promoting it on the POP site, does that mean that there will be Organized Play?
And I notice there is no US flag to click on. So I guess this isn't coming to the US. :-(

Neither is there an Australian flag, nor one for any of the several other Engish-speaking countries that comprise "Europe" - rather 1 for each seperate language spoken in the EU...

And thus this lack of gaming is your punishment :P

Only about 40 figures dissapoints me though. What are the chances of there being a decent Tropius model in that? Also, I want to see what these "special treatment" figures are like.
