Gardevoir δ Deck

Gardevoir δ

Pokemon(20)
4x Ralts
3x Kirlia
3x Gardevoir δ
1x Gardevoir
4x Staryu
3x Starmie δ
2x Jirachi

Energy(18)
4x W Energy
6x P Energy
4x Metal Energy
4x Holon Energy WP

Trainers(22)
4x Rare Candy
2x Switch
2x Sitrus Berry
1x Crystal Shard
2x Lanette's Net Search
3x Steven't Advice
2x Mr Briney's Compassion
4x Celio's Network
2x Holon Research Tower
--------------------------------------------------
This deck is for a friend, if that really would matter. I thought Jirachi could help because of it's power & attack, but I haven't tested it w/o Swoop. Dunno if I should cut back on energy.

Comments?

I guess you mean 3 delta gardes and 1 emerald, and beside that i dont think you need four staryu for 3 starmie. You can try using jirachi, but i dont see it working without swoops. And the biggest problem you have is that you only have 3 drawing cards, and you need 7-9 for sure. Also too much energys, dont see the point of 4 Holon energys, and the crystal shard is usseles cause you are never getting it when you need it.

try this out...

-2 Water
-2 Jirachi
-2 Staryu
-1 Starmie
+2 Registeel ex (HL)
+2-1-2 Pidgeot

i would also take out the swoops, switches, sitrus berries, and the lanette's for a rare candy, 2 Holon ruins, 1 ATM Rock, 2 Holon Mentor/Researcher (probably player preference), and 1 POW! u might also want to look into curse powder and milotic for possible t3ch.

Why just one pow? If you're going to go pow...you need more than 1.

No can do with taking Jirachi out, and Pidgeot wasts too many resorces to get out for this deck IMO. The deck needs synergy. Not that I won't try that idea though.

well, even if you get this deck to the maximum level, I don't think it would be that worthy, because gardevoir's attacks are not very good, and starmies' pokepowers are not that great, you can only search four cards in your whole deck, comparing to dark electrode that could search 8 (so think if you have one in the prizes). Besides what would you do if you loose the metal energies. Well, this is just my opinion, don't misundestand my intention, which is only to help. May be you could use dark electrode instead of starmie and add another good hitter to make this deck stronger..

You really need 2-4 Holon Research Tower in any Mercury type deck. There's just no avoiding it. Those Metal energy only last so long, even with the ability to shift them around, and if Starmie δ and/or Gardevoir δ fail to come out early enough, you're going to be left desperate for those metals to power Gardevoir δ's Psychic Rage

I understand, but my friend likes Starmie more then Electrode. I was trying to help her make a deck with her favorites and all.

Gardy has another attack, plus Starmie and Jirachi can do decent damage till the energies come in.

For 3 energy, and which will do stuff all damage if your opponent keeps their bench small.

You dont need research tower here, if you run a couple of DREs or dark metals you will be fine, there are a lot of better stadiums, like desert ruins or island cave. Im playing this with pidgeot now so i can give you my version hope it helps:

Pokemon (20):

4 Ralts
3 Kirila
3 Gardevoir
1 Gardevoir EM
2 Staryu
2 Starmie
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot

Trainers (26):

3 Holon Mentor
4 Celios
3 Rare Candy
3 Stevens
3 Copycat
2 Admin
3 DR
1 ATM Rock
2 Warp Point
1 Scott
1 Mr Britney

Energys (14):

2 DRE
4 Metal
7 Psychic
1 Holon energy WP

Pidgeot is good cause it let you search for some cards very usefull like warp point, atm rock, britney and help to have a gerde ready every time. That way you are not losing many metals. Having 2 Gardes allows you to move 2 metals in a turn, so if your garde has 20 hp left and is going to be koed, leave only one metal or a DRE in it and metals stay much longer.

Also, you can look under the "shooting star" and "Mercury" threads. there are some good ideas in those, along with some more helpful hints.

I like the ideas guys, but I was looking for some non-conformist ones. I'm not looking to throw ATM Rock or Pidgeot in just any decks, and neither does any of my friends. Sorry guys.
