Why would you ever play Clefairy Doll over a Claw Fossil? It's simply 30 less hp, no poke-body, and CAN'T evolve.

40 less? then wouldn't that be 0 hp? or did they increase claw fossils hp?

Claw Fossil will remain at 40HP.

they should have given clefairy doll a poke power/body like you have to flip to hurt it.

Fossil starts aren't that bad. They have only slightly lower HP than most opening basics, and don't cost you a prize. As long as you draw into some form of basic search in due course (and the chances are you will), you can just discard the fossil or let it die, and you don't lose a prize.

Fossil starts are only bad if you don't draw into anything else, and that'd probably be down to consistency issues with your deck.

Nope, I'm not in denial at all. My mentioning of Hypno in this thread really don't have anything to do with whether any of them are good or not.

And Dark Hypno is pretty decent
