Burn

I just recently got back into the Pokemon TCG, and I noticed a new special condition has been added to the game - being Burned. Can someone explain this condition to me? Thank you.

This is my first post, and I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this question.

When a Pokemon is burned, you flip a coin after each turn. If tails, that pokemon has two damage counters on it. Burned is removed by benching or evolving the affected Pokemon.

Welcome to the Pokegym! But on to your question, I believe it was asked earlier on in this forum, but anyway. Burn is similar to poison and Char (From Neo Genesis Quilava) So whenever your ACTIVE pokemon is burned between turns you flip a coin, if heads nothing happens, and if tails you put 2 damage counters on your active pokemon! That should clear things up!
