Promo moltres ex....

Just a couple of quick questions on the tin promo moltres ex, the last attack does 90 and states to have you discard all fire energy. Now if you attach rainbow energy's do you have to discard to perform the attack. If you use common sense you don't have to discard any energy if you have the rainbows attached. also is this moltres legal for regionals.

yes you do have to discard multi energy or rainbow energy or holon's because it is every type of energy. And the answer to your second question is yes it is legal.

hmm.
Well this could be OK in LBS. It adds a Fire pokemon to the bunch.
So if anybody were to play grass or other fire weak decks then this could be a good advantage.

Lugia uses 3 NRG, and Moltres only uses a 'ton.

(not ton as in the unit of measurement, mind you)
