Wally's Training

Can I evolve my pokemon to a stage 1 and then play this card and evolve them again (Normally I would think you can since the card says so) But then the card also says this counts as evolving your pokemon. Lmk

You can evolve again using Wally's Training. The wording "this counts as evolving" is there to prevent you from playing Wally's Training first and then using your normal evolution to evolve again on the same turn. In summary - Evolve normally then Wally's is OK, but Wally's then evolve normally is NOT OK.
