Trainers

Hey guys, I just recently starting playing modified again and I do not really know the format that well. I have a ton of trainers but no pokemon really. I would just like some advice on what pokemon i should get because I know many decks do not use the same trainers. With what I have what do you think I should get, please state the booster pack it is from. If I get a lot of advice on getting cards from one specific booster, I will mostly buy a ton of those because precons are not my style.

Oh and I have alot of energy including
4x Darkness Energy
4x Rainbow Energy

Suggestions? Sorry that this is not an actual decklist but it will be one later.

hte only thing is that u are starting with the roof without even having walls, thats really hard... why dont you try reading some deck posts and see what u like because the trainers are kind of flexible/tradeable... btw, welcome to modified !! GL!

WOW after seeing lunasol i have been won over. That is so tech that it is awesome because I do not like things that work by themselves. So i guess I will be buying alot of deoxys and legend maker?

If you are just getting back into modified you won't want to buy anything before emerald as it will most likely be rotated out after the upcoming worlds. If you want to buy a lot of 1 set I recommend either Unseen Forces, Legend Maker, or the next set that comes out in august, Miracle Crystal.
