On my way to the Eugene, Oregon Gym Challenge this past weekend, I stopped at a WalMart, and what did I find there? A new Ex Value Pack, with 3 booster packs and a holo Black Star Promo. It's #035, a metal delta Pikachu, with the same art as the Japanese promo #113/PCG-P, given out at the Japanese Gym Challenges this past spring, I think The packs are one each of Ex Hidden Legends, Ex FireRed & LeafGreen, and Ex Delta Species.

The promo is 40 HP, with 2 attacks: 1) Thunder Wave (one colorless energy) - Flip a coin. If heads, the defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed. 2) Iron Tail (One metal and one colorless energy) - Flipa coin until you get tails. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads. Weak to fighting, no resistance, and retreat cost of one energy.

Anyone know what Black Star Promo #034 is, and where you can get it?

My guess is Black Star Promo #34 is going to be in some other "gift pack".

This one looks like it's a reprint of LM's boxtopper. And the alternate art looks great!

I already asked BenLugia about this Pikachu because I saw it friday (june 2) in Walmart (to much hurry to buy)
I thought it was a blackstar and it seems it is one.

You could most likely make some money off of them seeing for how much it went. The gift box doesnt cost that much now, does it?

yeah, add in the fact that you TOTALLY confused me when you told me this. however, when you said it was "a pikachu with art you didn't like," the japanese promo just popped into my head, and, well, looks like i was right.

I am famous about confusing people, but you seemed to me the right source to ask because you are a kind of expert in Japanese cards/sets/promo's, while I am not.

Well it is an uggly Pikachucard. I bought the valuepack today and I still think it's an uggly card, but I need it for my collection.

Did any one else notice the Hologram Metagross, Blaziken, and Rayquaza from POP1 and the Venasaur from POP2? They also came in the 3 pack value set.
