I can also make farting noises with my armpits. :D I can actually do the same with my knees and hands as well.

On a more serious note, I played guitar from age 9 to 13, had a 7 year long break and started playing again two months ago. It's really fun to play again, I love music and practise almost daily now. ^^

I have been playing guitar for 20 years or so. I have been playing live concerts for 17 years and I have been making money out of it for 10 years. The 5 last years I have been making approx. $33.000 a year from playing music. Not that much, but as a side income it's ok. Only one of my side-projects, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, has a home page (www.gentlegroove.net). It sure beats making farting noises with various parts of the body, but I guess to each his own. :-)

i play guitar, but i sold my guitar to my dad. but i still get to play it, me and my dad both play guitar. we have about 3 guitars, a bass, and a drum set.

Daddiursa- What guitars do you have? I have a PRS Custom 22, kind of a fade out with a 150 watt Marshall head and matching cabinet. Then I run my Yngwie Malmsteen start through a Line 6 Vetta 2.

Well, I PLAN on getting a band together when I get better... I have a lot of songs written, but I just don't have the skill to play them consistantly well, or the stamina to play guitar for more than say, fifteen minutes at a time when I'm doing some of the major finger picking I like to do.

But yeah... do aspiring musicians count?

I play electric and classical guitar..i'm working on a music minor. i've got a fender strat and i play on a crate 212x combo amp. nothing spectacular at all, but i get by with it. i wish i had money for a new guitar and amp. i think i would get a paul gilbert model pgm ibanez and either a laney, marshall, or mesa stack...someday :P

I play Les Paul Standard and Danelectro guitars. My amp is a Marshall JCM 800 series 50 watt lead and two 4x12" speaker cabinets. The amp is originally a 100 watt, but I removed two tubes to make it 50 watt, that way I can turn it up louder and get a better sound.

I've had 2 bands where I've been guitarist/lead vocals, but both of them have fallen through. I have a sweet Takamine explorer with some custom Gibson parts like the saddle and vibrato bar. The pickups are custom too I believe, but I'm not sure who made them. Here's a picture of me playing it. :D

Also, since I'm driving up and it's not a hassle, I'll be bringing an acoustic guitar to worlds. So yeah, if anyone wants to find me, look for (most likely) the only guy with a guitar. ;p

Lot's of players but sorry, I can't include armpits unless you get on "America's Got Talent". I play drums, keys, harmonica, and a bit of guitar. I write a bunch of stuff and had a small "hit" in Detroit when I was 18 and again in my late 20's. I actually started in weddings when I was 12. That was a long time ago. I did wedding/bars/clubs 50 nites a year for 23 years straight. It cost me my hearing in my right ear but it's a pretty good excuse to ignore people. Right now, we are in the studio with CD #2. I might bring a harp or 2 to worlds but customs hates steel stuff in luggage :(

About the closest ive been to being in/having a band is the Lead Trombone for my High School Jazz Ensemble

Nice! Yngwie uses a 50 watt head. Like 1000000 of them.

I have been involved heavily with music for a while. I play alto sax and the first band I was in was "Six Foot Smurf". http://www.*******.com/6ftsmurf I was in it for a year or so then quit for personal reasons.

I am good at singing Classical music.
I have been in various choirs since 4th grade, so I know my musical theory pretty well.

Unfortunately for me ever since my voice changed the judges dont rate me as high, lol.
Cause I used to get 1st Chair in region every year cause my voice hadnt changed and I could sing high notes like it was nothing! Now it's different though so I am not as good as I used to be, lol.
But 4th chair in high school region for a freshman ain't bad.

Anyway, sorry if that sounded like bragging. (as if anybody cared, lol)
