quick question

can someone explain to me wat does blaziken ex second attack does ... its says before doing damage, count the remaining HP of the defending pokemon.If that pokemon is knocked out by this attack, Blaziken does damamge to itself equal to this attacks damamgeminus the remaining HP of the defending pokemon. this attack's damamge isn't affected by weakness , resistance m poke power /bodies, or any other effects on the defending pokemon ... now i just don't understand .. if its in any way possible to explain it any better .. i would really appreciate it ^_^

Basically, Blaziken ex's Burn Away works like this:

Let's say the Defending Pokemon has 60 HP left. Blaziken ex uses Burn Away. It only needs to do 60, so Blaziken ex does 40 damage to itself. Ouch!
