Houndplume (DX-on)
Pokemon: 16
1 Bellossom d (HP) 3 Vileplume d (HP) 2 Gloom d (HP) 4 Oddish d (HP) 3 Houndour (UF) 3 Houndoom (UF) Energy: 16 4 Fire Energy 4 Metal Energy 4 d Rainbow Energy 4 Psychic Energy Trainers: 28 2 Holon Farmer 3 Holon Transceiver 3 Holon Researcher 2 Holon Mentor 2 Holon Lass 2 Holon Adventurer 3 Warp Point 2 Sitrus Berry 1 Strength Charm 4 Rare Candy 4 Crystal Beach Strategy: Vileplume is your main attacker, with a great Poke-power (50% chance of poison every turn is great). Bellossom can use Vileplume's attack, which is nice if you're dealing with a pesky resistance or fire type. Houndoom makes the opponent keep his trainers in his hand, and Vileplume hits harder for every one. There is almost a non-existant energy cost of 2 for the biggest attack, which is nice. Vileplume only has 90HP, so just load it up with 2 or 3 metal energy to make it a little safer. |

i think houndoom isn't that good in this deck since you want to have at least 2 vileploums in play to use his power and you will have about 4 pokemon in play so your opponent can easily keep 4 or less pokemon in play but if it works it's a good strategy...you should put the houndoom line 2-2.
you should remove the pscychic for 4 double rainbow... remove 1 lass replace crystal beach with 2 holon ruins and 2 holon resarching tower/holon lake remove the sitrus remove 1 warp point you have 6 free spaces u should add 1/2 more strenght charm add 3 celio's network add 1 scott mabey add a holon's castform or try to find space for 2

I think I'll keep Houndoom in there, but maybe a 2-2 is better. I'll try a few games on Appr. with your trainer lineup to see if it works. Thanks for the help.

My friend (Let fire Fall) made this deck a while ago. It did pretty good, beating LBS. This deck NEEDS scramble.

my energy line went something like this
4 DRE 4 Metal Energy 4 d Rainbow Energy 2 Psychic Energy 2 Fire I dont remember if I had Scramble, I might have. Deffinatly run DRE though. I've gotten turn 1 Vileplume alot. You could probably replace the fire energy with Scramble but I found that I was attacking with Houndoom alot too. Another thing, Celios Network is better than Researcher in here. Run 1 Researcher incase you need to search for it with Transciever but try and fit in as many celios as possible. I think I also had some energy root in here since 90 hp isn't that good. 110 + metals is alot better. EDIT: I also used 4 Battle Frontier.

ugggh, this deck. tried it, failed. don't make it, its terrible. it needs too much to get your houndoom out quick enough so they can't just crystal.
