D&P Prep?

Well, it was confirmed that once you get to a special part of the game, you could transfer Pokemon from Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, etc, etc. So, the way I see it, as a softcore player, I have a little time (until Spring 2007 if what they say is correct) to make a pretty good team to upload into Pearl once I get it.

So with that said, I AM considering buying a used copy of Emerald so I can upload even more Pokemon (I also have Ruby). Also, if I'm not mistaken, Emerald can clone Pokemon. Which will only lead to absolute insane abusement.

Are you doing anything like that?

Heck yes
Only reason why I still have all my GBA games.

I have abused the cloning glitch to the point where I've earned 60+ rare candies.
it took about an hour.

Umm... Yeah.
The only bad thing is there probably isn't going to be a way to clone the newer Pokemon. -_-

Yeah, thats a shame.

The global trading system is going to be interesting though.

I should be getting the wifi adapter soon...

i have cloned so many pokemon that i was able to breed them. Also i made a trade last week that i traded a cloned Zapdos to a little kid for some yu-gi-oh cards

I won't use the cloning feature, I prefer to do things by the book...instead, I will be breeding Pokemon for transfer over to Diamond and Pearl, so I can then breed them on that game too. Right now, my Emerald game is set up for and used strictly for breeding, with the occasional trip to the Battle Frontier.

I train mostly but sometimes use the cloning glitch for rare candy. I now have every pokemon that is not in D/P at lvl 100(legendaries and starters). I also got all my shiny pokemon to lvl 100 as well. Now im just looking for more shinies to trade on wi-fi.

I got 2 Voltanis the adufdicator for that trade

I'll eventually use the cloning glitch to copy my good lv 50 and 100 teams over, so that I can at least compete competitvly on Wi-Fi until I can get a D/P team running for Wi-Fi.

Lol I doubt they wont have a glitch to clone items, it has been in everyone of the genres thus far...

Um personally like to say I did it so yeah I prefer to breed and just train.
