promo mewtwo and item finder
I was wondering what the ruling on this would be...
Say i start off my hand with a promo mewtwo (the one with energy absorbtion), an itemfinder, and some energies. Would i be allowed to use item finder and discard 2 energies even though i have no trainers in my discard pile? and if i am, would i be able to put the item finder i just discarded back into my hand? |

Q. Can you use an Item Finder if there are no trainer cards in the discard pile?

Also, remember that a Trainer being played does not go to the discard pile until you have resolved all of its effects. So even if you could play the Item Finder (say there was a Potion in the discard) the Item Finder wouldn't be there to be retrieved.
