Yeah it is crazy. I listed mine starting at $0.01 and it went up to over $700 in about 3 minutes after I listed it and I know thats only going to go up.

Well, Considering that Walmart wasnt suppose to sell one to him (Tim) yeh he should be. I was 4th, My Friend 3rd, Tim 5th. We were at the walmart and they said we had to leave except #1 & #2, and if they got more systems they would call us. they call us already, but after they sold it to the ppl behind me and my friend in line. They call us and didnt even tell us they got 2 more, just to tell us they were gonna do the rainchecks like advertised all over there store. If I dont get my system from them, I smell a lawsuit coming....

considering most of the launch games are either sports games that have already been released on the other systems or mediocre no-name fighting games...and that most people are reporting that games like call of duty 3 and tony hawk 8 have better framerates and gameplay and better online play on xbox 360...yeah, people are stupid to pay that much for a piece of some overhyped hardware.

Well u all know about how edwards is trying to get the union on Walmart, well that really makes walmart mad but 3 days ago one of Edwards (People) called walmart and try to ask them if they can get a hold of the PS3 because Edward's son was wanting and he did want to go through the lines, basically Walmart said heck no!!!!!!!!!! because of the whole union thing lol. Quite funny really.

PS3 in my area was sold out in 4 minutes, no joke.

So is it completly sold out, Last I heard it was but one of my good friends said that California has over 5,000 still in stock to be sold. Is this true???

Everything Vegeeta said is truth, I believe however the exact quote from the Walmart Rep. was, "When Donkeys Fly."
Quite embarrasing IMO to bash bash, try to push on a business what you want, then ask if he can jump ahead of our US citizens that have been standing outside for days and get a PS3.
I say sir, get on ebay on spend some of that hard eanred cash (cough) like every other peanut brain sized person.

Moving on, what's the latest on the highest price of a PS3?

No its not. However, what has Walmart pushed on anyone? They have fought policies that the government has time and again tried to put on them arounfd the country. A business in my opinion (in this case Walmart) has the right to conduct itself, the way it feels. No privately owned business should be told how they are going to opperate. I do believe though that there should be set in stone guidelines that businesses HAVE to abide buy. There are all ready a long list of these that Wamart follows, work conditions, etc...

Edwards and a long line of other Senators (all parties), constantly try to pass laws to force Walmart to pay more taxes, pay more insurance, make them go Union (would cause employees to walk away with less money BTW) etc... Even though they provide a ton of jobs to the US citizens with pretty good pay, and I feel Edwards showed himself as a hypocrit when he tried to jump the line to get a PS3 from Walmart.
