Isn't there an item that makes flying pokemon get hit by ground attacks?

Yes, it's the Iron Ball. I can't remember where you find it but I kow you can dig up more in the underground. Hope this helps.

No, I found it while beating story mode but I forgot where. =( As long as you go to all the places where you see a pokeball at least, you should find it.

and, i believe the move "gravity" (or something like that) makes flying types get hit by ground.
