Electivire and Delta Rainbow

let's say i have an Electivire that has an Elekid under it and i want to use it's poke-power, but the only energy I have in play is a delta rainbow that's attached to a Dragonite D. Can I legally move the delta rainbow to Electivire or is there a timing issue in which the energy changes to colorless preventing the Electivire from moving?

Since it is providing :lightning while attached to Dragonite d you can move it. However, once it lands on Electivire it becomes :colorless because Electivire is not a delta Pokemon.
