Revamped Raidaunt(HP-on)(now tested)(News testplay added)
Help me name this deck! :p
Keep changing the name for this deck. Anyway, I thought it over and revamped the deck. The strategy is essentially the same but the new trainer build changes every thing. Ive tested it now too against Infernape and Raieggs, and the results are stupendous. Ill post detailed matchups later... (How did I test cards there arent out yet you ask? Markers lol.) Pokemon-22 3-2 Crawdaunt EX 3-3 Raichu DP2 2/1/1 Delcatty/Delcatty EX 2 Luvdisc CG I think? 1 Vaporeon Star 2-2 Magneton PK Trainers- 19 3 Quick Ball/Master Ball 4 Windstorm 4 Mizuki's Network 3 Super Scoop Up 3 Bill's Maintenance 2 Night Maintenance Energy-19 4 Boost 5 Water 10 Lightning. Pokemon Strategy The Starter Luvdisc, I luv you.No fighting weakness. Mario's got nothing on you... Bring them out then bring out Corpish and Pika. The Tech/Support Raichu Raichu L. 40 – Lightning – HP90 Stage 1 – Evolves from Pikachu [.] Induction: Search your deck for up to 2 Lightning Energy cards and attach them to 1 of your Pokemon. Shuffle your deck afterward. [L][C] Depth Charge: Discard all Lightning Energy attached to Raichu. This attack does 30 damage for each Energy discarded in this way. Weakness: Fighting (+20) Resistance: Steel (-20) Retreat: 1 He can attack, if needed, but his main purpose is to charge up Crawdaunt EXs on teh Bench. A potential 60 damage climb every turn makes Crawdaunt ready in prolly two turns. Catty/Catty EX An excellent draw engine, and great for recovery if Crawdaunts get KOed. Upstream will bring back all the enrgy you lose for another roud of Crawdaunt. Plus, zero retreat. Vaporeon * Things take a turn for the worse if Crawdaunt gets beat up too badly, use him to refresh you your Crawdaunt. It doesn't seem like much but it helps. Combo with Super Scoop Up. Object of Affection/Monster/Main Attacker http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayim...?imageid=18043 When I saw him back at the HP prerelease I loved him. The problem then was what to combo it with. I couldn't think of anything fast enough, so I traded mine away. Big, big damage. No discard, and at the same time destroys any big setups with Splash Back. Boost also helps for a quick extra 60 damage if you really need it. Trainer Setup Bebe's Search Bebe's Search – Supporter Card Choose 1 card from your hand and shuffle it into your deck. Then, search your deck for a Pokemon card, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. You can play 1 Supporter card during your turn. Place this card next to your Active Pokemon. At the end of your turn, discard this card. This card is great. I fill any Pokemon searching needs for only the sacrifice of one other card from my hand into the deck. Night Maintenance Night Maintenance - Trainer Search your discard pile for 3 in any combination of Pokemon and Basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and shuffle them into your deck. Bring back your energy and Crawdaunt from the dead. Used mid to late game prolly. 3 QuickBall/Master Ball Which one you play over the other is determined by your play style. If you're a lucky guy, go with Quick Ball. Otherwise, Master Ball might be safest. Windstorm We all know and love this. Bye-bye Cessation Crystal, Mysterious Shard and Battle Frontier. Super Scoop Up In the current game, there's damage and lots of it. Occasionally, you might have to bring back a Crawdaunt to your hand to heal it. Bill's Maintenance Simple draw preferred to TV Reporter for the no discard. Other Notes The sad flaws... It's tough to get those energy back, and early KOs can ruin alot of the stuff. Ray EX d I still see being a beast, and any deck with him seems a hard win to make. I see Mario causing some ruckus here too... Test MatchupsNew added! Infernape It all depends on the early speed. If they dont Double Rainbow start, you can usually power up Crawdaunt just enough to KO with Water weakness. If you return fire and just keep hacking away, you'll do alright. Plus Power can hurt your chances though, if they use it....Very badly. Tips the scales c0mpletely. 65-35 70-30 If you can get Raichu out early. 40-60 If they use Pluspower Raieggs Cessation can hurt badly to stave off OHKOs with Splash Back, but Windstorm should meet your needs. An early Split Bomb can be disastrous and Cursted Stone at least is no longer a facter next season. It's probably up to the skill of the players, but if they get up fast even without Transciever, you could be in trouble. 60-40 Mario Lots of Fighting Weakness here, but you usually arent T1'd. Beatdown will be pretty good for them at first, but after they take 2-3 prizes you're already ready, and they never catch up again. Surprisingly easy. 75-25 That's all I have for now. The only other thing I might want to add IMO is a Ray d(water) from HP and some Holon Energy if Lightning gets big again. When the Raichu comes out...I'm sure hoping for this deck to work! Thanks for reading!

this deck has serious potential, and possibly mew d for a tech against grass and steal
another option is to go 4-4 raichu as your attacker without crawdaunt, and 2-2 delcatty ex to upstream it all back, either will do but consistancy will win |

I prefer Crawdaunt since he has no discard and better HP, and thanks alot.
Here's hoping I become the creator of another archetype(don't really believe it'll happen with this though.) :o P.S. I was thinking about Mew delta but can't find the room for some delta rainbow or something. P.B.S. New deck name Idea MC Crabhammer? Or this could be my Team USSR Theme Deck Marx. New stall deck, Stalin! :p

i like vaporeon* but he isnt a neccessity
neither is having 4-4 crawdaunt expecially with nightly garbage run coming back i would have 3-3 crawdaunt and 4-4 raichu with 1-1 lati@s because 7 out of 10 decks dont have many evolved pokebodies that the ladies stop drop 2 water and 3 lightning for 2 night maintenence 3 strength charm get rid of elms training method for mizukis network because that can get basics too drop 1-1 lati@s for 2 castway lose bills maintenance for stevens advice maybe consider battle frontier for a couple windstorms because crawdaunts power isnt absolutely a neccessity either but keep one for luck |

I keep bills since Ill be keeping their pokes small with Splash Back, and Raichu is only used for support.
I already have Windstorm The Latilock stops all eveolved pokemon excluding EX. The opurpose there is death to Inferanpe draw system among other things.

How does Latilock stop Infernape's draw power? And Ray ex's body?

Yeah. The fun thing is, you can just keep him at 6 energy and start powering up another Crawdaunt. If you need to do anything bigger than 120 damage, just use one Boost.
P.S. When DP2 comes out Ill have more matchup info and additional stuff. I might take this to my local Cities. Also, names? I like Liquid Lightning, Red Lobster, and Viscosity so far. :x

Wow. I really like this deck. The only thing is, I definitely wouldn't play 3/3 Crawdaunt ex. The reason? You're only going to be charging up 2 at most, so what's the point of having a 3rd? IMO it's just a waste of space. Also, the Vappy is a neat idea, but unnecessary in this deck. Here's what I'd do:
-1/1 Crawdaunt ex line -1 Vaporeon* - 3 BF -3 Bills Maint. -2 Tauros -2 Scott -1 Night Maint. -1/1 Latilock (not needed for this deck) -3 Water -2 Mentor +1/1 Raichu line (you're going to be swarming with these, plus you wanna start with pikachu) + 2/1/1 Delcatty/ex line (the reg. delcatty will help with setup while the ex will help late game) +2 Castaway + 1 Windstorm +3 Luvdisc (for Lucarichamp or w.e. its called) +3 Master Ball +3 TV Reporter +2 Copycat +3 Quick Ball So basically the deck looks like this: Pokemon: 17 4/4 Raichu 2/2 Crawdaunt ex 2/1/1 Delcatty/ex 3 Luvdisc Trainers: 26 4 Bebe's Network 4 Windstorm 3 Master Ball 3 TVR 3 Quick Ball 2 Castaway 2 Super Scoop 2 Copycat 1 Night Maintenance Energy: 17 10 Lightning 4 Boost 3 Water Honestly, I believe the deck is a lot faster this way. You should start with a Luvdisc and try to fill up the bench ASAP. After that, switch him out for a Raichu, which you already should have drawn or searched out, and go from there. I really like the ball engine, but that's just my playing style. Also, Delcatty is for additional draw and the Delcatty ex is there for late game situations when your Crawdaunt's have been KO'd with tons of energy on them and you need energy in your deck ASAP. You might want to take out a 1/1 line of Raichu and switch the trainer engine around, but I believe this should help a lot right now. I'm definitely going to test this and tell you how it does because I believe it has the potential to be a VERY good deck. Good luck.

I just tested it really fast and some things I learned:
1. Raichu should be at 3/3 2. 3-4 Water energy is sufficient enough. 3. Luvdisc doesn't help much. (or hasn't yet) 4. Delcatty ex is a keeper. 5. Maybe go 3/2/1 on Delcatty/ex 6. If you do, add a Magneton PK 7. Raichu is a good attacker.

Yea, I know. I'm just saying that Raichu is a pretty decent secondary attacker in this deck. There was a few times were I didn't get a Crawdaunt up and running by T3 (most of the games I did) so I just attached 3-4 lightning to a benched Raichu and watched him tear through whatever came up. In all seriousness, even if my version doesn't reach its highest potential, this deck is VERY good.

Tomorrow I'm going to make the best list yet, based on my research and yous...could you Pm me some more advanced observations...
There, I think that does it. Check first post for new stuffs. Reconsidering adding Latilock due to Electivire lv X and the new Ampharoses.

Then you turn off Crawdaunt's power and Delcatty's.
Either way test it and tell me how it goes. I plan to order a box of MT preordered and make this my Team's Theme Deck :p Another cut after testing, Magneton does no good at all so taken out. Also new matchup added.

crawdaunts power is hardly the focus of the deck especially when raichu is up using his attack
you can attach the tool and then retreat for crawdaunt and its marvelous |
