Today I played at battle roads and I got killed by empleon. Any techs that I can play in my infercatty deck that will help fight empleon? 1-0-1 mag d?

yea Maganium 'd' owns Empoleon pretty bad.
but Im not sure how to effectively tech that in Infernape...
maybe 1-0-1 Meganium with Multi energies... idk

What type of Empoleon deck?
Does it use Mantine? If yes, then Meganium d wont be very useful.
Does it use Lucario? If yes, then Meganium d would own the deck

Always play off Empoleon's Weakness and use Electivire with Lake Boundary or something.

Infernape basically just loses to Empoleon. I would just keep the deck the same and take the loss without sacrificing consistency.

But the retreat cost and one more bad start and two turns to power it up are unfortunate.
