I feel an awkward problem with this deck is the lack of anything for Gengar to switch into. What in the world is Gengar supposed to do with his second attack? Place four damage counters, then hide behind the oh so durable Lucario...?
Additionally, I don't feel like this deck has what it takes to set up the Gengars quickly enough, as well as Ampharos simultaneously (as you need Amphy within the first few turns before Supporters become unneeded). Stuff like Crystal Beaches, Team Galactic's Wager... They're good cards, yes. Do you have more more pressing needs, like Great Balls and Master Balls? Yeah... You really do. No deck can be considered fun if you can't even get the cards out, thus more stuff needs to be directed to ensuring the T2->4 Ampharos (heck, even turn 4 would be REALLY too slow for an Ampharos to be effective, me thinks). If you can't get stuff out quickly, you need something to bide you time. Sableye CG can sort of do this (as well as accelerating in a weird way with Excavate). Obviously Mr. Mime is a great combo with Gengar, and he works too (except against Blissey) |
