Sharpedo's strike wound

Does sharpedo's strike wound attack go through defenders or buffer pieces? coz i'm thinking these are still effects on the pokemon from trainer cards. How about tail wags, agilities or damage reduction like shelgons protect strike?

Defender and Buffer would be ignored as "any other effects on that Pokemon".

For the others, it depends on whether they are on the Sharpedo or the Defending Pokemon.
You can tell two ways> What Pokemon is referenced in the attack. That is where the effect is placed.
Or, if that is not clear, then if it is before Weakness and Resistance, it is on the Attacking Pokemon (Sharpedo) and is not ignored. If after Weakness & Resistance, it resides on the Pokemon that is now Defending and so is ignored.
