Smile Norwich UK C.C. Results/Report

Well finally the smoke cleared and the dust settled and we were left with three winners! My son Shaun Banham (PokePup1) took the 10- title with his Gardy/Gardy ex deck.I guess he was the favourite from the start but didn't have it all his own way as he lost in one round and was run very close in two others and the lad he lost to went on to claim the 15+ title! Simon Humphrey claimed the 11-14 title with his water based deck and Adam Gadir got the 15+ title with a very nice Cradilly based deck with loads of fossils that caused all sorts of problems for his opponents and a very notable victory was against my son who is currently #1 in global modified.A very good scalp indeed!!
Congratulations must go to all the players who played in a wonderful spirit throughout with no outbursts or problems!! It was a pleasure to TO this one! If I had a good sport award it would go to everyone who played! And even the last placed players went away with some goodies and a smile on their face!

Congrats to Shaun and the others - my money is on Shaun winning his age group overall at Nationals, although I'm sure Adam H and Nicholas F will want to prove my predictions wrong! It's just that I've seen some fine form from Shaun this year, moreso than from the others but Nicholas certainly knows how to play that Kingdra... we'll have to wait and see!
