So yeah, I got my nintendo power for June today, and I was looking through it. On the last page, they have a big moon picture. And they start hyping up some game see for yourself ^^.

I found the original photo they use on that page (their's is just rotated and turned red). Nothing seems to be modified on their photo when comparing it to the original - at least nothing major (they increase the contrast on theirs, so if something very little was changed, it is hard to tell, but I don't think anything was).

Ok so I think I've got it.
If you wikipedia moon, you will see the exact image that Nintendo used (only grey).
Now if you look at the big crater (the one on the left in the Nintendo one, and the one on the bottom in the Wiki one) you will notice they are the same thing, only Nintendo turned theirs.

Now looking at the Nintendo crater, if you look sort of diagonally outwards from it, their is a straight line all the way across to the other side. Familiar? It's a pokeball. Yeah that's right.

It's rotated to look more like a pokeball... OMG!

Honestly, I'd say that's biased considering we're on a pokemon forum, so we're going to say it's pokemon just because. @mew xD

and can the picture be a clue to any announced game...? I looked it over and in the middle it sorta looks like a mushroom man with butterfly wings. And there is a game coming out for DS and I think Wii too about Mushroom people. Dunno bout he butterfly wings though.
I was bored and went to gamespot the other day and looked up all the games coming out for the next about 4 months. xP

Edit: My friend says she sees a character from Kingdom hearts holding something. Which isn't too far off considering the rumor of the next kingdom hearts having mario in it, hence being on the wii also.

At the bottom of the moon you guys see a white dot? A little above that and to the left I swear to god it looks like a Jirachi, and right next to it is a P, maybe standing for pokemon.

The little figure looks just like this jirachi picture.

The stuff in the red is my other friends speculations. the thing inside his triangle that he calls a skull this is the Jirachi I was taking about above. ^

You guys are seeing things that aren't there. It's just a picture of the moon. Nothing has been changed other than the color and rotation.
