Once during your turn, before you attack, you may discard any number of Fighting Energy attached to Tyranitar. If you do, remove five damage counters from Tyranitar for each Energy Card you discarded.

[D][F] Dark Dig 20+

You may search your discard pile for up to two in any combination of Dark Energy cards and Fighting Energy cards and attach them to Tyranitar. You may also do 30 more damage for each Energy you attach. If you do, discard one of the Pokemon on your Bench and all cards attached to it(this doesn't count as being Knocked Out.)

[D][D][C] Overwhelm 40

If the Defending Pokemon has less remaining HP than Tyranitar, this attacks base damage is 100 instead.

Nice. Dark Dig is a tad bit horrible, though. Compare it to Rotom.

Dark Dig makes no sense. You have to use the power provided in an attack if there is one. So for 2 energy you could search your discard pile for 2 dark or fighting energy cards (i see how that works with his POKE-Power), but if you don't no damage is dealt and your turn ends. So if you don't use the power your basically doing this.
