OMG another Kingdra deck

ok i need some tips coz i havent paytested this deck at all and im most likely using it for br........

POKEMON (17)

4x Horsea (LA)
3x Seadra (LA)
4x Kingdra (LA)
3x Kyogre
2x Baltoy
2x Claydol

ENERGY (17)

17x Water

TRAINERS (25)

4x Roseanne’s research
4x Bebe’s search
4x Rare candy
4x Plus power
3x bucks
2x Warp point
1x TSD
2x Cynthia
1x night maintenance

it focuses more on spreading damage with kyogre as a starter and then late game use the first attack for a quick ohko and yeh

I have a Kingdra deck built right now and I don't run anything but Kingdra and Claydol. I did think about Kyogre as a starter but really with Kingdra the whole point is getting him up there and evolved by T2 and donking them if possible. Although, I do like your thinking and would really like to know how this plays for you. I would like to see you add at least one more NM though because TSD is flippy....

Kingdra/Kyogre is a a perfectly good deck, it just runs differently to straight Kingdra. Instead of going for the early donk, you set up a swarm while discarding Energy and spreading damage. Once Kyogre gets knocked out, Kingdras can come and clean up.

Oh, and Kyogre also solves that pesky Mr Mime problem you get with Gliscor decks.

With Kyogre's spread and 4 PlusPowers, I think you can afford to switch the Buck's for something with a bit more draw power like POV, or Felicity's.

ok i do not want to be negative but kingdra needs ONE energy (and yes i know that seadra needs three but like kiss_n_fire (lol inside joke) said get kingdra out T2. this makes you only need the one energy. the things that i see wrong with kyogre is that one: it is a waste of an attack, and two: if you use his attack then you are taking those energy from kingdra's second attack(which i find best if you discard 2

energy) if you want to waste an attack then use something like phione or pachirisu.

the only reason i have the kyogre in there is for a good strong starter that accelerates the discarding of water energy and its good that kingdra only needs one energy which means i can be doing 60 and 20 to all bench whilst setting up easy kingdras with one energy and then as soon as kyogre dies i should already have done descent spreading to the bench and all kingdra needs to do is abuse its spreading power and first attack. i might add 1 more kyogre to have a better chance of getting it out t1

The extra discard can help kingdra's first attack, and do a bunch of damage if 60 isn't enough for the KO

i thought of the lunatone idea but regice totally beats it and kyogre beats regice lol coz kyogre discards and attacks and spreads and takes care of the mimes lol but i will most likely take out a bucks for another kyogre set up kingdra on the bench pp i might keep for extra hitting but i see were ur coming from.....my reason for not playtesting the deck is because im on holiday and the set came out whilst ive been away and i came up with it here so wen i get back i will be able to playtest it and tell u how good it goes :)

i have a kingdra deck made up, and i wouldnt waste slots trying to tech against mr mime. i played against someone who got it out turn 1 , and it didnt really do anything. cause eventually i just put 2 more energy on kingdra and raced through everything. also pachirisyu is the nuts against deck like empo and other water decks, cause it hits for 40 for 1 energy and is a good attacker if u dont have time to set upa kingdra late game.
