Twisted D/p Team

Ok now that I've finished my dex I'm gonna start at the battle preparing for My leagues up coming tornomeant

Here was my Idea...

Bronzong 50
Held Item: Leftovers
Moves:trick room,Phyic,Light Screen,Reflect
Hippowdon 50
Held Item: Ground Plate
Moves:Earthquake,stoneedge,protect,ice fang

^^ thats how I'll start off Protect hippowdon, Set up trick room (Most People at my league use fast pokemon)

back up pokemon will be Garchomp
Held Item:Shell Bell
Crunch,earthquake,SandStorm,stone edge
Snorelax 50
Held item:Lum Berry
earthquake,ice punch,rest,Hyper beam

^^Hopfully keep bronzong out setting up walls slowing the Opp. Going first with Hippowdon Dealing out massive damage...

Garchomp is late game clean up When Trick room is gone and bronzong is KOD

Snorlax gets rid of Ubers cause most are flying type when on low health rest then recover with Lum berry
T2 set out to snipe with hyper beam or shake the ground with earthquake,

Going to try this Saturday when its the first round of duels

May need help
Questions coments?

BTW all battle are double battle

Thislooks like a good team. It is a good strategy. I have a small suggestion though. Hippowdon is a strong defensive Pokemon. You may want to consider makinga Hippowdon with that in mind. Slack Off is the first thing that comes to mind, but you would need to breed a new one for that as it is only an egg move.

Take Hyper Beam off Snorlax and replace it with Giga Impact or Curse. Take Sandstorm off Garchomp and give it ether Dragon Claw/Outrage or a elemental fang attack. Make sure you understand EVs because if you do and they don't, you will have a huge advantage over everyone else.

TFK - You are at work. you realy should be working

ON TOPIC:
i agree with TFK - hippowdon is a nice tank, and Slack off along with great defences and HP is hard to get rid of.

and snorlax should not have hyper beam. Body slam/Return/Giga Inpact are better options.

Garchomp does not ever need Sandstorm, especially since Hippowdon is setting it off already. For Garchomp, I'd change the held item to Yache Berry (Ice Beam is rampant in doubles, and Garchomp hates them), throw in Swords Dance > Sandstorm, and Dragon Claw/Outrage over Stone Edge. For Snorlax, give him Protect (does him no good being hit by Garchomp's Earthquake) over Hyper Beam. Or, a more standard idea would be to give him Belly Drum and then a Sitrus Berry, so that you can have him smash things, and ditch Rest. Preferably, a partner with Psych Up (Metagross) would also be present with him.

As for your leads, ditch the Ground Plate on Hippowdon and give him Leftovers. Slack-Off > Ice Fang, and then maybe Rock Slide > Stone Edge if you like hitting both opponents. Bronzong gets Lum Berry, since setting off Trick Room is vital to your strategy.

Since you are using Trick Room, I'd make sure at least Bronzong, Hippowdon, and Snorlax have a -Spe Nature, with as little IVs in them as possible (if you're dead-set on using Garchomp, it won't matter since he's so fast to begin with; I would seriously consider Metagross over him).

Use the Power items, infinitely better than Macho Brace. Camerupt could be a fun option over Garchomp, stick Eruption on it and go to town on your opponent's Pokemon.

You have to put the Pokemon with it in your box or it will go away at the end of the day.

They will never get Pokerus back, but if you haven't saved since last night then turn your DS clock back to after your last save but before midnight. Then put them in a box and save. Then set your clock back to normal.
