Unwon G VS attacks that Lost Zones Pokemon

I just want to know if what I think is true.

I know Unown G protects VS effects of attacks, but the 'effect' of Darkness Lost, Broken-space Blow comes in action after the Pokemon it hits is KO'd. Does Unwon G protect KO'd Pokemon from being Lost Zoned?
