T-Tar for Nats(no regs in my area)

*sigh* no regionals, cities or states where i'm from *cry*

so, nationals where i'm from are on may 31st. check out my 'possible' decklist for nats.

Pokemon---23

Tyranitar(3-1-3)
Claydol(1-1)
Uxie LA(1-1)
Sableye(4)
Weavile Dark Engage(2-2)
Darkrai MT (1-1)
Unown G (2)

Trainers, Stadiums and Supporters---21

Pokedex HANDY910is(3)
Night Maintenance(1)
Roseanne's Research (2)
Bebe's Search (4)
Felicity's Drawing
Evoluter (1)
Broken Time Space (2)
Moonlight Stadium (2)
Rare Candy (4)

Energies---16

Basic Darkness Energy (12)
Special Darkness Energy(4)

Strategy

Obviously, T-tar is the main attacker. the best starting active pokemon is Sableye, either for a donk or for Impersonate, depending on the situation. there are 2 different drawing engines utilized in this deck: Uxie LV X and Claydol.
also, Uxie LV X can even be a secondary attacker(when your desperate). simply attach 2 sp darkness and dark engage for a quick 80 damage.
next is Darkrai- he is once again, another secondary attacker but, its main role is to turn all darkness energies to sp darkness energies.
Weavile is for a quick energy drawer, which you can use to either draw for sp darkness or basic darkness and attach them to T-Tar. Felicity's Drawing is for you to discard some energies to threaten your opponents with Darkness Drive. they will have to think thrice before using a poke power!

now, the main idea is to get out darkrai for Dark Shadow asap. it is also important you get 3 t-tar lines up and running as fast as possible. you must also have at least 1 drawer. if your playing either 'noir or Palkia G, you should have 2 T-tar's in play, 1 on your bench as well as a darkrai X and either uxie X or Claydol. once one T-tar is gone, put another one down. this will be easy if you have a broken time space and/or a candy. Moonlight Stadium is a way to quickly

Matchups

Dusknoir/duskgar Variants
this is the best match-up you can find yourself in. this deck depends heavily on pokepowers, so you'd be darkness driving all the way. since when they attach an energy, they'll be increasing your output, they'd either stop powering which basically kills the deck, or do it at a risk. spinning tail to weaken their pokemon, especially Dusknoir before it goes to dusknoir LV X. using Unown G will dull the danger of Damage Even. T-tar OWNS this match-up...75-25.

G variants
This is where your spinning tail aids you, as all G pokemon(excluding palkia and dialga) usually have around 80-90 health, and they'd all take(even dialga and palkia) just 3-4 Spinning tails to pull off multiple KO's. That will Frighten your opponent and after you KO his backup attackers and skuntank, he's easy pickings. Though this match-up might be a little hard to begin with, it would become easier once your all set up. T-tar Advantage 60-40.

Blastcatty
once again, your opponents will fear darkness drive. spinning tail might be an attack that requires a little thought on your side, as it increases how much delcatty can do to you. it might be smart to place your darkrai down at the right time, and switch out the starter with a suckish starter, like Claydol and put him to sleep. while your opponent is defenseless, you can quickly spinning tail as you wish, which will do 90 damage to blastoise before it KO's Claydol, so Blastoise will be easy pickings for you. when all hope seems lost, use endless darkness and repeat spinning tail endlessly. however, you might find that darkrai very helpful in this match-up. T-tar advantage 55-45.

Rampardos
IF they get their good start, its game over, however you should try building your t-tar's from the bench as quickly as possible and maybe sacrifice a few prizes to begin with. Darkrai once again helps delay them for some time at least. do not bother with spinning tail and just grind all the way. however, in most matches, Rampardos wins hands down. T-tar Disadvantage 30-70.

AmphyTrick
Manectric will make baloney out of your Uxie and Claydols, so maybe you should put them down carefully, Electric Barrier might be a little hassle, so quickly take out any Manectrics and proceed to spinning tail. you might want to take out amphy first, though, cuz it can 2 shot you..
EVEN 50-50.

AMU/PAMU/LAMU
this is an easy matchup, supposing you can survive the starting onslaught. once your opponent is left to rebuilding back on the bench, you have him on the run. 3 spinning tails and each of the pixies are gone. watch out for Mesprit and Azelf, they can hit heavily against T-tar, so you might want to consider Grinding down mesprit and Azelf when they come out, T-Tar Advantage 65-35
(depends on which AMU variants you play against and LAMU might actually have the advantage).

CONCLUSION
T-Tar is an amazing heavy hitter and it is very versatile, it is both a good straight on attacker AND a good spreader.

TYRANITAR WILL RULE THE WORLD.......

and not eevees!!!

Hey ,

your Deck is great but this not :

16 NRG's is to much in a T_Tar Deck , 14 is ok
1 Evoluter ? oO'' take out this...
take out a unown G .

make a Palkia X line , 1-1(unown G and evoluter)
play 4 Rosy's(2NRG's)

sooo now is better ^^'

I have played t tar all year and I made top cuts at regional so I have some idea of what works.

I agree with 14 energy and taking out evoluter

Do not take out the extra Unown G - You will need 2 - having 1 cost me the lose in top cuts with 2 I win and maybe even win regionals.

I like the 1-1 dol and 1-1 uxie but when I start with an Uxie it is an auto lose so make it a 2-1 uxie.

3-2-3 T Tar line

Drop the darkrai. It slows you down way too much
3 sableye and 1 Absol -- This one card make Dialga cry. They do 10 while you discard their energy gains poke turns and stadiums - Prevents Cyrus from being played unless they are desparate for energy.

Your trainer line is way different as long as you are getting a t tar claydol and weavile by t2 or t3 then keep it that way. But you need one or two warp points. If you stay with Darkrai you will need 3 warp points.

People I know that have played Weavile in T-Tar regretted it... So, I would suggest not running it.

I' ve played weavile in my t-tar and I think he must be in the deck ^^
Free retreat cost is great and the LA Sneasel is usefull in an energy gain environment.

I agree with UFtroll, Palkia lv.x is a better choice than darkrai lv.x.

2.1 Uxie is the way to have a better matchup against machamp.
3.2.3 t-tar is better than 3.1.3 , cause you have bts.
So, take out the claydol for one more Uxie and one more pupitar.

3 felicity are enough, you can add one more night maintenance (just playing one cost me a CC top)

3 sableye are enough, you can drop one for Honchkrow g.
Honchkrow g can give you the stadium you need and target attack can be usefull after a spinning tail.

i would really try to get a 1-1 line of palkia G lv.x in the deck. it would make it so much easier for yourself.

Where are the roseanne ?
SSU ? are you gonna scoop up a full charged ttar ? I don't think so.

One moonlight is enough, go with Palkia and just one water energy, use special rent for having the Moonlight or the BTS.
Use the mt pupitar and one fighting energy for ko regigigas or weavile g.
Trust me, try to put one honchkrow g. it's not a bad start.
keep in mind that Tyra's body don't work faces a good player ^^ So focus the Deck more on grind than spinning tail.
This is why i think this changes can be good.

Never say never. A 1-1 claydol and 2-1 Uxie is superior to 2-2 claydol in this deck.
