Wandering about the woods one day,
I came upon a familiar friend...

2 Mew EX
3 Espeon Neo 2 Holo
2 Flareon SR
4 Eevee Neo 2
3 Cleffa Neo
2 Scyther AQ # 57 (Cross Cut for 3 Neutral Energies)

4 Focus Bands
4 Gold Berry
4 Double Gust
4 Bill's Maintenance or 4 CopyCat or 4 Oak's Research
4 Pokemon Trader or 3 Fan Club+whatever
4 Professor Elm
1 Pokemon Center
2 Fisherman
2 Town Volunteers

10 Psychic Energy
5 Fire Energy

Anyway, Flareon is my new friend.
I even shared some of my Lava Cookies...

Besides the obvious (out with the Gold Berry, in with the you-know-what), here's my fix:

-1 Espeon (5 evolutions for 4 of a basic? Too many.)
-3 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
-1 Focus Band
-1 Double Gust
-1 Professor Elm
-1 Pokémon Center
-1 Psychic Energy
+2 Cleffa (Promo)
+3 Energy Stadium (Neo Destiny)
+4 Fire Energy

A very interesting deck Espeon.
I wonder did you consider using Boost Energy?

Drop Scyther on the table, attach a Boost,
do 80 damage to Kabutops...surprise, surprise...
Good against water when Flareon would not
be used, and if you are facing Grass you
can place the Boost energy on Flareon, who
also needs three colorless energy for its main
attack (called "Burn Booster" perhaps TPC
designer were trying to give us a hint...)

Another possibility is adding Shining Mewtwo
since you are using both Fire and Psychic
energy in your deck.

Also a possibility is adding Horsea AQ#85 with
"Reverse Thrust" (two colorless) against fire.

Thanks,
Doug [Smile]

careful about using boost energy on scyther...I believe you need to be an evolved pokemon (like flareon [Smile] ) in order to truly reap the benefits of boost energy...otherwise, Chansey EX would pose a significant threat to the game environment.

It is difficult being smarter than my trainer [Roll Eyes]

See Doug, I left boost out because I wanted
the Fire Energy in to hit Grass Pokemon
for 100 when I gust them up from the bench.
I didn't forget it was useless on Scyther.

Thanks Dendrobatia,
Espeon [cloud9]

PS Dendrology means the scientific study of
trees. So does DendroBATia mean something
about the study of SR Crobats hanging upside
down in trees? Doug's library is so inadequate...

Strangely enough, oh master trainer of all things eeveelution, I never even thought of the bat in the name and the connection to Noccromancer. Hey, though, that's just more karmic goodness for me.

Dendrobates: The scientific genus of most poison arrow tree frogs (or, to some, poison dart frogs). Thus, dendrobatida: poison arrow tree frogs, in general. The little guys are kind of my totem animal, if you believe in that sort of thing. I suppose I could have also called myself phyllobatida (another sub-genus of poison arrow tree frogs), but "Dendro" as a nickname sounded better than "Phyllo". Kinda makes one wonder why I don't run a politoed deck....

Can you tell I'm a sixth grade science teacher yet?

Cheers,
