Pokemon - 17

4- Gastly (LC)
3- Haunter (LC)
3- Gengar (EX)
1- Gengar (Skyridge)
2- Tyrogue
2- Cleffa
1- Lilypad Mew
1- Mewtwo EX

Energies - 14

10- Psychic
4- Recycle

Trainers - 29

4- Elm
2- Copycat
2- Oak's Research
2- Town Volunteers
2- Pokemon Trader
2- Pokeon Breeder
2- Pokemon Fan Club
3- Switch
3- Double Gust
4- Focus Band
3- Ecogym

Normally I would only use 1 Tyrogue but Gengar's Dark weakness could easily take me out. LP Mew is there just in case I'm staring down some huge heavy hitter PKMN. And I added in Mewtwo EX, because as long as I'm going to lose 2 prizes if it goes down, I might as well have some use from it. The new SK Gengar I love, because I could always use another Mewtwo EX if I'm in a bind.

What I really need help is with the trainers. To tell the truth, I have no idea how trainers work with EX Gengar. I know I have too many switch and DG, and I guessed with the gyms so fix please? and any other suggestions are appreciated! [Angel]

Edited: Since you are using Nintendo cards, i've put "non-DCI" in your header to let others know.

I have seen this deck before, was that you who posted it? I don't think ecogym is useful in your deck because you can get back your psychic energy only when it's removed by your opponent. Healing cards like gold berry/healing field can help. I beleive one town volunteers is enough for your deck.

Juggler can help mewtwo EX's energy absorption and SR gengar's poke-power and gives you more drawing power. I'm not sure if it works though since you only have one of each.

If you have space, add in another mewtwo EX. Not telling you to play both in one game but just want to increase the chance of drawing it or just in case one is in your prizes.

I personally find energy switch pretty useful sometimes. You can switch around your psychic energy and quickly build up one pokemon to surprise your opponent. For example, you just play a gastly on the bench and attach an energy to it. Next turn attach an energy to gastly again, then use energy switch to transfer a psychic energy from pokemon like mew, mewtwo or babies to gastly and use pokemon breeder. You can now attack with gengar because it has 3 energy the second turn you play gastly!

With 29 trainers, 4 Elm is way to many. Lose the Ecogym and try 2 Elm, and add 3 Juggler, and 2 copycat.
