I looked at the last post with your previous psywave deck... and then this post. To be quite honest, I fail to see any way in which the advise given was used. (In fact, I'd actually appreciate it if you could point out to me what advice you took. If you DID actually take some advice, then I missed it.)

OK, first off, in one of your previous posts, you said using singles of cards tends to WORK for you AND make things more interesting. Well, interesting I can't argue with, that's purely your opinion, but SINGLE COPIES of a card DOES NOT WORK, neither mathimatically or logically. IF you actually WIN like this, you have NOT been playing experienced players with good decks. I, along with most who have given you advice so far have PLAYED decks just like yours. Using decks with multiple copies of cards gives a deck SPEED and STABILITY, they are MUCH more reliable, and WIN. The main focus of the deck (Which the one you posted doesn't even have) is easier to get out.

I'm putting emphasis on this statement. If these decks WIN for you, you are NOT playing good, tournament worthy players OR decks. You MUST listen to the advice people are giving CONERNING multiple copies, almost ALL of us, when we were new played JUST the way you do. This works UNTIL you play someone with a good deck, coincidentally a deck with a multiple copies. A deck with a discernable, fast, and STABLE strategy. If you get one of these decks, and know how to use it properly, you will do much MUCH better than you ever could with what you're currently trying.

Ok, that out of the way... Here's what you're going to want to do to help build a deck that works. You established in another post that you're not a beginner, that you've been with the TCG for quite a while now. BUT, regardless, if you haven't picked up on more advanced strategy by this point, you're going to want to start with a basic 20/20/20 deck. Over time, you SHOULD see why it works better than something based on random luck. It should come to be more 15/30/15. (Pokemon, Trainers, Energy)

SO, first off, assuming this is modified, you're going to want to start off with a main attacking family. Either a stage 2 family, or a stage 1 family, basics don't work as well in Modified. Stage 1 should follow either [4 basics, 4 stage 1], [4 basics. 3 stage 1], OR [3 basics, 3 stage 1]. Same thing, more or less, for a stage 2 family. usually 4 basics, 3 Stage 1 (Less if you play Pokemon Breeder), and 3 stage 2.

So, something like this.

4x Abra
4x Kadabra
3x Alakazam (Skyridge)

And you've got your main family, (I picked something randomly out of your deck) this is what you want the REST of the deck to focus on. Trainers, support Pokemon, Energy, they should ALL focus on getting out the Poliwrath quickly, keeping them alive, and dealing with other threats. For example, support Pokemon...

3x Tyrogue
3x Elekid

Small, but efficient. They're both free-retreaters, both VERY energy efficient, and capable of helping you deal certain other tough Pokemon. (Tyrogue is evil against other babies)

Finally, card-drawing/search engines. This is a given, nowadays it's ALMOST ALWAYS Cleffa. SO...

3x Cleffa

There are others, very rarely used except when they fit VERY well into a specific strategy. Cleffa is all purpose, a VERY good card.

That 20 Pokemon, sticking to the beginner's bit so far.

NEXT is trainers. The Biggest part of trainer selection is making your deck as speedy as possible. Speed WINS MATCHES. At LEAST 2 different cards for flat out card drawing.

3x Professor Elm
3x Copycat

Basic, good, guaranteed card drawing. Next comes specific search engines, these are nice for when you need specific cards.

3x Pokemon Trader
2x Town Volunteers

Cards to keep your Pokemon alive.

3x Gold Berry
3x Focus Band

Aaaand and little disruption.

3x Double Gust

That fits the 20/20/20 scheme, but still leaves a bit to be desired as a competitive deck. Over time, you should try and tech this so it gets to be a bit faster, and fits the strategy a bit more. Tech from experience.

And energy, simple enough.

16x Psychic Energy
4x Warp Energy

And our results...

Pokemon: 20
4x Abra
4x Kadabra
3x Alakazam (Skyridge)
3x Tyrogue
3x Elekid
3x Cleffa

Trainers: 20
3x Professor Elm
3x Copycat
3x Pokemon Trader
2x Town Volunteers
3x Gold Berry
3x Focus Band
3x Double Gust

Energy: 20
16x Psychic Energy
4x Warp Energy

Perfect fit the 20/20/20 scheme, also much faster and more efficient than what you've been playing. Try this out against whatever you and your friends have been playing, you will do MUCH better than with your previous deck. Good luck.
