Nice deck, but no Babies? Drop 3 Lightning Energy, a Defender, and two Oaks for two Tyrogue, two Cleffa, and two Focus Bands.

He's right you do need babies, Cleffa should be played. Good deck though.

Another suggestion: Change some (2-4) of the Lightning Energy to Metal Energy. Since this deck is DCI Unlimited (no Nintendo cards), Metal Energy will still reduce R. Zapdos and Chansey's self-damage by 20 per Metal, while only lowering the damage you do by 10 (not a big deal for either, considering what it's coming from). Meanwhile, your opponent's damage to them is reduced by 10. With Unown N in play and one Metal Energy attached, Chansey is doing 70 and taking 30. R. Zapdos with (L)(L)(L)(M) does 60 and takes 10. You might also want Recycle Energy, for retreating Chansey and paying Colorless costs. See if you can find room for 1-2 Pokemon Fan Clubs, to help you get out Unown N and other Pokemon. Also, Juggler might be useful -- it gets Lightning in the discard for R. Zapdos, and gives you Draw Power. In addition to my other fixes, you could drop 1 Lightning Energy and one Electabuzz for these (1 each, or 2 of one of them). Also, Town Volunteers and Energy Charge couldn't hurt, if you can find room.

Good deck but you should try playing babies.
Drop the defenders for 2 cleffa,1 goldberry, and a super energy removal. Well good luck!

Hi, Matek [Big Grin]

You should have both Gold Berries and Super
Potions in the deck. Why Super Potions?
Because you've got to discard an energy to
use them and therefore you have more discarded
energies for Plasma. You may drop 1 Switch,
1 GofW and 1 Defender for 3 Super Potions.

I like an idea of putting some Metals into the
deck. They'll help both Chansey and Rocket's
Zappy. Drop one Darkness and 2 lighting and
add 3 Metals. Hope I've helped.

Interesting idea, Mori. Another idea is to splash in 2-4 Recycle Energies. Once you have enough Energy in the discard pile, you can use them to pay costs for retreating, SER, and Super Potion (if you put it in) without really losing an Energy.

Interesting mix, interesting mix...
4x computer search
3x item finder
3x gust of wind
4x prof.oak
2x switch
3x super energy remowal
3x gold berry
1 Town Volunteer
1-3: Sprout Tower, 1 Cinnabar City Gym, 1 Narrow Gym
2 Energy Charge
Energy:18
12 Lighting energy
4xDouble coloress energy
3 Metal Energy

OK, LMK explain my changes:
I would personally RUN 2-2 OAK , Oak's REsearch, IN case I have that HAND of ALL special energies, YOU CURRENTLY have no way of recovering them once you discard them.
ADD Energy Charge.

WHAT I did not do BUT I always do:
I would reduce your pokemon count, you are TYROGUE weak with both Chansey & Ebuzz, I too woudl recommend CLEFFA because I RUN LASS in my unlimited decks.

IF you get lassed 1st turn YOU WILL be at a serious disadvantage BUT I'll let you be the judge of that.

You need to PLAY the GYM WAR, very underestimated; YOu choose your gyms BUT you need them, CHANSEY could be around double-edging for quite a while AND you too could lock down a clefable deck because IT WON'T be able to touch scyther nor ebuzz (it will Rzappy) with a Sprout Tower out.

OK so it slows chansey BUT then again it will do less damage to itself. THEN again, have you ever NARROWed Gym a chansey with a Metal, DCE and 100 damage RIGHT BACk to your hand? You should see the LOOK on your opponents face (it acts like a scoop up)

Recycle energies would do well in yoru deck, perhaps reduce 2 lightning energy and add 2 recycle energy. --BUT no need due to RZappy's ability to absorb energy.

Goodluck... BTW no one plays slowking in your area? You are easily lock down if you are not prepared to counter them: Magby, pichu, brock's mankey.

Hey, throw in an Elekid or two, it'g gonna take you two turns to power up Zappy anyway, so why not still do damage with Playful Punch?

Only problem with Dark Llama's suggestion is that using Elekid's power ends your turn, so you can't Plasma on the same turn.

Daniel and I have have played Rocket Zapdos a lot--and done very well with it.

Two suggestions: First, stength charm is great in this deck. We bring out Rocket Zapdos on the first turn and keep using Plasma, relying on our trainers to get the extras that we need. With a strength charm, Rocket Zapdos knocks out a baby--and you don't lose it unless the attack works. Also, when Rocket Zapdos does electoburn (with a steel), it only does 60--which is 10 short of the all so common 70 HP Pokemon (Scyther, Clefable, Ditto playing opposite Rocket Zapdos, Brock's Ninetales).

Secondly, we are coming to the conclusion that Unown N doesn't cut it. The good players are all playing Igglybuff, which destroys Unown N. (They play Igglybuffs to handle Slowking--and whatever Unown hurts them.) Zappy has to worry about Clefable. Clefable decks play Igglybuff. We have finally concluded that 3 Sprout Towers are needed. Previously, we had been playing Pokemon Towers to hurt the Recycles and the Item Finders--since we weren't playing either.

Good luck.

You have a good team, but a babie pokemon would also great in your team.Try ELEKID.Drop down 1 R.Zapdos. And trainer cards: drop 1 Prof.Oak,1 computer search and 1 defender and add 3 Potions. Why Potions there are whery handy and you dont must discard cards.
