Today I have decided on attending the World Championship to help out the WOTC staff and meet the Master Trainers again. I also want to play in the Wizards/Professor Challenge there.

This will be an Unlimited Constructed non-sanctioned tournament where you will get to compete against your fellow Professors as well as against Wizards of the Coast employees!
Because of that I am preparing my best decks for the event. My first and currently my most powerful deck is my Magcargo/Entei deck which helped me take home the Fighting Season tournament.

Title: The Magcargo Menance
Class: Unlimited
Pokemon: 18
4 Slugma (Neo Revelation)
3 Magcargo (Neo Revelation)
4 Entei (Holo)(Neo Revelation)
2 Magmar (Fossil)
2 Magmar (Promo)
3 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
Trainers: 19
4 Professor Elm (Neo Genesis)
4 Gold Berry (Neo Genesis)
3 Pokemon Trader (Base Set, Base Set 2, Legendary)
4 Gust of Wind (Base Set, Base Set 2)
2 Energy Stadium (Neo Destiny)
2 Super Energy Retreival (Neo Genesis)
Energy: 23
23 Fire Energy

First, I have choosen the NR Slugma just because it can attack on the first turn, and it second attack holds down the defending pokemon. So basically I choose this card in case of only having one slugma in my hand. However, this situation has never come up yet.

Magcargo, as many know Magcargo is one of the best fire types around because it can control how much damage it deals. I usually get Magcargo onplay by turn five, ready to go thanks to the next card to describe.

Entei (Holo NR) is the best way to feed Magcargo and itself. I made sure I put in a good amount of Fire Energy in so that Entei would have about 2 to 3 Energy card to use when I used its PokePower. Entei is also my backup in case I can't get Magcargo in play.

I used to have 4 Fossil Magmars in play but now 2 due to the Promo one. Smokescreen has gotten me out of thousands of situations already and it will continue to help out in Early Game risks.

The new Magmar (promo) on the block is a great early game fighter. Especially when combined with Entei.

Cleffa provides a lot of help. Early Game defense, quick early game setup, and the best resort to a bad opening hand.

Professor Elm is used later in the game or if there is no Cleffa around. I combine Cleffa and Elm for a double chance to get the cards I need.

With 3 series of pokemon whose HP is good. Gold berry outrules Focus Band in this situation. I usually keep Gold Berry with Magcargo whenever possible.

I used to have Computer Search in my deck but Pokemon Trader is more effective because I usually want Entei or Magcargo more than any other card so I can maintain my deck and get the cards I want at the same time.

Gust of Wind is absolutly vital because this card is the key to take out water decks. Most powerful water decks use Evolution Cards so pull out and kill off vulnerable Squirtles or Totodiles before heavy attacks become imminant.

Energy Stadium has 2 important uses. The primary source is to keep getting fire energy out of the discard pile and back on to Pokemon. But it also serves as a deck restoring card when combined with Prof. Elm or Cleffa.

23 is the best amount of Fire I could squeeze in just because of Entei.

Enough talk about each card. Here are the weaknesses to look out for:

All attackers weak to Water.
Easy to "deck" yourself.

Just remember to attack fast and eliminate threats before they appear.
