Author Topic: Metal Chains (mmf) lithium_foo367 Member # 78334 posted June 01, 2002 05:38 PM             *no intro* ha (18) 4xMagnemite 4xMagneton (rev) 3xUnown [M] 3xAerodactyl 4xCleffa (14) 10xLighning 4xMetal (28) 4xElm 4xBill 4xTrader 4xBill's Teleporter 3xDouble Gust 3xFossil/Egg 3xPokemon Center 2xEnergy Charge 1xTime Capsule It really is a "chain" deck because of the one massive combo it revolves around. -You need to have a magneton on turn 2 w/ a metal -The unown must be in play -Aerodactyl must be in play This allows the player to Selfdestruct over and over for no damage to his/her own Pokemon. It's fun to see happen. 'Naut's idea for the Centers work really well and annoy the heck out any opponent. I feel the weakness is the fact that the deck cannot do too much damage from any non-metal source. An opposing unown [m] would freeze the damage machine. And i need advice for which is better, F.Egg or M. Fossil? Somebody posted this idea a while back, and it surfaced in my brain now that magnemite is in LC. Credit where credit is due. I agree and disagree on some points though. ~I think that the Traders have to stay. They just are too useful to get everything I need out on turn 2. ~Mary over Teleporter makes good sense. No flips are always better. ~I do need a Gym. Healing Fields would help the fact that i have no Focus/Gold Berry, but Ecogym might be a good way to counter Kingdra.
