Yeah this deck is TricKy. Pretty annoying too. Here is my version of the now underplayed Jumpluff (due to Scizor).

Fluff
Pokémon: 20
4 Hoppip (Genesis)
4 Skiploom (3 Genesis/1 Aquapolis)
4 Jumpluff (3 Aquapolis/1 Revelation)
2 Cleffa
2 Mantine (Destiny)
2 Smeargle (Promo)
1 Unown D
1 Tyrogue

Energy: 14
6 Grass
4 Rainbow
4 Water

Trainers: 26
4 Professor Elm
4 Copycat
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Double Gust
4 Focus Band
2 Gold Berry
2 Pokemon Fan Club
1 Energy Stadium
1 Town Volunteers

I'm sure most of you are smart enough to understand why I play some cards in this deck. So I'll tell you why I play Unown D since most of you are wondering why I do.

Instead of Painting the Steelix/Scizor to Water which almost everyone would do, you Paint it Dark. This makes the initial Metal Energy attached offset the base damage of either Steelix/Scizor (both have 30 base damage oddly enough). There goes 30 damage. Then, since you SHOULD have Unown D out in play, it subtracts another 30 damage right there. So, they need to do more than 60 damage to do ANY damage at all. This hurts Steelix the most since it won't do any damage. ;\ Plus, Scizor can Snatch all day, but there will be no outcome of it.

I didn't want to change their types to Water just because I have resistance to Water. Sure it's the same effect, but they can still Double Gust your supporting cards and get KOs. But with Unown D in play, they have no other choice but to use their support cards, which may as well be Water (can we say Jumpluff?) due to all the Fire that's around.

Also, since Unown D is in play, Murkrow will not be able to damage Jumpluff due to Unown D's Power. ;\ How is that for TriX? So, if they Double Gust Unown D out, it would take them at least 2 turns (unless Murkrow has 2 Darkness) to KO Unown D, allowing you to either Double Gust or power up to KO the Murkrow.

Questions/Comments are welcome for the deck and my neat little combo.

Khap,

This deck is pretty sweet. That whole Paint and Unown D trick is just plain mean. I never would have thought of that. The sweet thing is you could do that to any of your opponent's Pokes, not just Scizor. The only thing I'd slightly worry about would be the susceptibilty of those two Pokes. I mean a failed Paint is surely a KO and Unown D could be Zzzaped. Most Metal decks play at least one Pichu because of Unown M tecH. The concept, if it works, is pretty sweet. This is one of the best anti-Scizor concepts I've seen so far. Nice! One other thing. I would consider using AQ Bellossom instead of Jumpluff. I dunno what it is, but I just don't like Jumpluff anymore. As irritating and swarmable as it is, it just withers and dies sometimes. Consider Bellossom or Meganium. Bellossom is sick though...with Gloom reducing Steelix's resistance. Just some thoughts.

Nice work!

OKOK

My take is to combo Jumpluff with Kingdra! This deck won the Colinsville SBZ for 15+!

Jumpluff itself is a pain.

Why is everyone high on the AQ Scizor. Poor little buddy is not resistant to grass, is it?

Just my thoughts.

Hey replies. ;\

Well, Gymbo, yeah both are DG bait. I might have to find a way to TecH Scoop Up in here. Maybe drop a Tyrogue or something to that effect. Also I'll have to try that Bellossom thing. *adds to playtest list*

Psycodad, if they play Muk then I'll just Paint Scizor Water. It's the least I could do for Scizor. [Big Grin] But anyway, most people are smart enough to play some form of Water because of all the Fire. That helps me further if they play Water. ;\

Everyone is so high on AQ Scizor because it is the stuff. It has high damage to energy ratio, plus it has defense because of the Metals. If you don't believe me go and play a few games against the winners/T8ers of any SBZ who used him. =/

You are missing the point. Muk kills your deck. I know from first hand experience. I would also thank you for helping tech out my scizor deck. I will now play 2 tyrogues for smeargle!
