Just one suggestion:
Take out one Cleffa in order to add 1 more Onix.
Trainers are rather O.K. Think about adding some Super Energy Removals and Switches. I think they would help.

I suggest using only the 50HP Aquapolis Horsea -- look at that Pokemon's attack in conjunction with Kingdra's Genetic Memory. It gives you a cheap way to retreat almost whenever you want or need to! Just use Genetic Memory to get to the Horsea's Attack then put up a baby Pokemon to frustrate your opponent, or something that is resistant to your opponents type, then advance Kingdra again when you want to continue attacking! Especially helpful if your Kingdra gets Poisoned or Burned!

Good deck, but one prob.

Since the beginning everyone has been saying you should have a ratio of how many of each evolution you should have for every Basic Pokemon in the deck. Running 4 Kingdra, Seadra and Horsea will guarantee you getting two or so Kingdra i nyour hand and nothing to evolve from. Keep a good ratio going, I try a 4:3:2 ratio, that way, you maximize space in the deck and increase the chances of getting the vo line started.

Also, with that many Pokemon, you cannot expect to run the deck very well on only 6 water enrgy. Add about 10 more and ditch the trainers like Elm (yes it sounds crazy, but do it and see how much more your deck is flexible without the same card as everyone else!)

Drop the Pichu, especially b/c you didn't say what set most of these cards are from... but with only 1 Pichu, you have a 1/60 chance of getting it, and what happens if you need it and it's in the prizes?

The I put in Breeder Fields to let you evolve Onix and Horsea fast. The chance of evolving 2 Pokes in one turn is a helpful thign in a tight spot. These are much more useful than Trader, especially b/c Trader has you switch the cards from deck to hand, whereas Breeder Fields will let you Evolve the Horsea into Seadra, the Onix into Steelix and let you keep the Kingdra in your hand, without having to send it into the deck!

2 Kingdra
3 Seadra
4 Horsea (NG)
2 Steelix
3 Onix
2 Cleffa

4 Double Gust
3 Copycat
3 Breeder Fields
3 Center
3 Gold Berry
3 Focus Band
2 Pokémon Fan Club
1 Town Volunteers

4 Metal
4 Recycle
14 Water

Quite a few versions, I really would like to see how the H2O Kingdra stands up against Jumpluff and Light Dragonite... I've commented on all so far...

quote:

4 Kingdra (3NR, 1AQ) - possibly go 22
4 Seadra (2NG, 2AQ) - change to 4 NG, Mudsplash kills Babies
4 Horsea (NG) - stick, free retreat is too useful
2 Steelix
2 Onix
3 Cleffa - can go 2
1 Pichu - I'd think 2 depending on metagame

(could add a Magby - very useful against Venusaur. The new Tyrogue looks delicious against Steelix and against Light Dragonite I'd have to test it out because you can't remove their energy unless they fail their Baby Flip and you get yours so it goes either way)

4 Elm
4 Double Gust
3 Copycat - try to squeeze four in
3 Trader - try to squeeze four in
3 Center
3 Gold Berry
3 Focus Band - can go 2
2 Pokémon Fan Club - no need with your drawpower
1 Town Volunteers

4 Metal
4 Recycle - I'd seriously consider spiking Warp Energy in instead
6 Water

quote:

2 Kingdra - this is nuts, Kingdra in prizes = gg
3 Seadra
4 Horsea (NG)
2 Steelix
3 Onix - there's no need, especially against grass metagame, to clog your deck up with three
2 Cleffa

This deck will die to Venusaur especially the new ones with Rainbow Energy and the H2O Enteis to beat Steelixs down.

4 Double Gust
3 Copycat
3 Breeder Fields - too flippy (even though I love the card)
3 Center
3 Gold Berry
3 Focus Band
2 Pokémon Fan Club
1 Town Volunteers

4 Metal
4 Recycle
14 Water - this is WAY too much Water, you can run this deck on four water if you leave the NR Kingdras in. I don't understand this fix at all, it's nuts if you ask me.

I'm sorry but that's being just plain silly, really. [Roll Eyes] Trader is WAY more superior than Fields, especially as it's useable throughout the game. Well, disagree with me if you wish, everyone has their opinion.

Good luck with the deck.

Hmm... first I guess I forgot to say it was a modified deck. So... yeah.

I'm using the NG Horsea because of free Retreat. Fan Club can let me get out a Cleffa and Horsea/Onix speed like and then I can just premote Cleffa and Eeeeek without watsing a turn retreaing Horsea if it was up there. Granted that little effect is a cool one, I added 4 DG for a reason. I'll keep that Horsea in mind tho...

Dark Llama, I'm not sure what deck in Modified doesn't utilize Elm. You've effectively, and amazingly, halved all the cards that reshuffle my deck. Breeder Fields is inferior to Trader. And if one of my horsea/seadra die, guess what i do? I either town voulenteers the Horsea back into my deck, along with those (measly?) 6 water energy I lost, and I use that (useless) Kingdra in my hand to search for the Horsea with Trader, not Breeder Fields, Trader. Plus, if I have the 3 Cleffa, 3 Copycat, 4 Elm, I'll have one in my hand to get my evolutions out and not have them die to some demented Electabuzz Double Gust combo.

Freedy K, thanks for your input. After testing out Fan Club, I did find it, on occassions where I already had a full bench, not all that useful. I play it for a few reasons.

1. Lets me get Cleffa out, free Retreat, Eeek.
2. Early search through my deck. Normally I'd do this with Trader, but I like the fact that you can get out your lil one's out early, since I usually waste Elms first turn just trying to get some Horsea out.
3. What's in my prizes. HEY! I know first turn, and I didn't waste a Trader. I saved them for my evolutions!
4. Late game- Town Volunteers, next turn Pokémon Fan Club.
5. Guaranteed early-game thin my deck out. Letting me Copycat/Elm/Eek to DG, Center, and other things more effectively.

I am thinking of going 2-2 with Cleffa and Pichu. But Pichu comes in Ultra handy in Entei/Cargo, and that's one of the reasons I put in the Aquapolis Seadra, since Kingdra could do 40 with Genetic Merorizing and flipping heads with a Water Energy attached. If not, Pichu get's a workout. And I can always trade if I don't like the setup. Thanks for the help everyone. I need to test this out for SuperBattlezone now that it changed to Mod [Roll Eyes]
