I love to make haymaker type decks here are two that I came up with mabey you guys can combine the two to make an even better deck.
Thunder Slash
16 Pokemon
4 Ditto
4 Rockets Zapdos
4 Scyther
4 Electabuzz
28 Trainers
4 Oak
4 PlusPower
3 Mistys Wrath
3 Computer Search
3 Item Finder
4 Gold Berry
3 Energy Removal
2 Gust
2 Switch
16 Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
8 Lighting Energy
4 Grass Energy
Okay that is my first deck the main hitters are Ditto, Rockets Zapdos and Scyther
Here is my second deck
Chop, Cut, and Copy
15 Pokemon
3 Hitmonchan
3 Scyther
3 Ditto
3 Jigglypuff
3 Wigglytuff
26 Trainers
4 Plus Power
4 Oak
2 Resitance Gym
2 Energy Removal
2 Super Energy Removal
3 Computer Search
4 Gold Berry
1 Gust
2 Switch
2 Item Finder

Doesn't everyone want to get first in a tournament? Well, any way for the fix, I would go with the first one. But there are a few thing to do with it, here's what I got:

Pokemon: 17
4 Rocket's Zapdos
2 Aerodactyl (Fossil)
3 Scyther (Jungle)
3 Ditto
3 Cleffa (Genesis)
1 Unown D
1 Unown N

Trainers: 26
3 Oak
2 Elm
3 Gold Berry
4 Focus Band
3 Fossil Egg
3 Mysterious Fossil
3 Bill
3 Computer Search
3 Nightly Garbage Run
1 Sprout Tower

Energy: 17
13 Lightning Energy
4 Metal Energy

Okay, the reason why, well first of all you have no evolutions in your deck thus if you were to get out Aerodactyl, no more evolutions period!
Cleffa is there for draw power and to stall! With this being a standard format tournament though I would guess Sneasel and Wigglytuff are still running rampant so I added Unown D, N, and Sprout tower to your deck that way if you get Unown N and Sprout Tower or Aerodactyl out early enough you won't even have to worry about Wigglytuff and for Sneasel, all we have is Unown D and Ditto or if you are ready just electroburn it! The Metal is there so that you can do Electroburn for 60, but only ten to yourself. Don't worry about the fact that there aren't any resistance gyms in the deck, lightning resistance isn't all that common out there, and it is all fightning which you have resistance to, so don't worry, this deck should do very well! Hope you get first! [Wink]

The Evolution of Steelix:
My many Steelix deck versions:
Electro-Crush (Rockets Zapdos)
Steel-Slash (Rocket's Scyther)
Steelix's Memory (Neo 3 Aerodactyl)
Whirpool Crush (Umbreon, Dark Vaporeon)
Crush Down (Arcanine)
Kabulix (Kabutops)
Steeleon (Espeon, holo Discovery)

And maybe more to come!

The problem with teh Unown's is they are easy targets for a Gust of Wind or similar trainer, I stopped using them ages ago.

Anywho, a great card for haymaker is Nidoran male with Horn Hazard.

True, but there aren't too many other thing to do about since for the moment there are no pokemon with actual resistance to Psychic or Normal (come on Expedition set) so that' s it, as for the Gust of Wind, possible you could go for a complete lockdown type that possibly could be going second turn! You know first turn have out a mysterious fossil, oddish, Rocket's Zapdos, Erika Dratini, then next turn first make sure you have all the energy and such that you need to power up Rocket's Zapdos, put up Dratini for some major basic stall then play any last trainer's (say Sprout Tower), then play breeder to send out Dark Vileplume and then evolve the Fossil into a Aerodactyl and bam, unless they come up with a lot of Iggly or somehow had a Muk up faster you got him locked! Then play down other basics as necessary (Unowns) and then Electroburn away when ready. More fun cards to play in this deck would be Murkrow (if you managed to lock a baby in, then they could retreat, couldn't evolve, and couldn't play trainers, there choices! Nearly absolutely nothing! Oh and you could put in Mew (both Promos) one for any evolution that got through and the other to send an evolution back down to the depths of being a basic. Well, as crazy as that combo is (I dare someone to try and make this deck and have it work), in the present deck we have yes the Unown would be Gust of Wind bait, but hey it could hold them off for a little while!

But with 10 pokemon, you're just asking to have your opponent get 10 to 12 cards for their first hand.

Gotenks22KDP I already have 3 eco gym so that makes 5.
the rest of the fix can work

psycic_prof I don't had any problems with that, the deck is really fast so that doesn't matter very much

um, that's not even statistically even close.
but i'm not gonna get in to numbers, the chances of you mulliganing 2 or 3 times with 10 basic is approx 1 in every 28 games. so that's not even somehthing you should worry about. most hays made nowa' days mave 6-13 pokemon, 10 poke mon is just fine (maybe even a little much) and EVEN IF you mulli that many times thet's when your trainers kick in, just use lass or an IOR, that will solve any problems you have!

well good decks and best of luck with them!
