Drunken Dragons: Revised and Revamped
Modified Format²

Pokemon: 19
4 Magikarp (Legendary Collection)(Most terrible Basic ever...however Flail is essential to...)
4 Gyarados (The heavy hitter of the deck. Solid damage, res to Fighting and 100 HP. Yea it's pretty nifty)
3 Cleffa (The infamous card-drawin' squeaker)
2 Onix (Genesis)(Screeching into a Tackle or Tail Crush is a sweet tactic...look to Rage though)
2 Steelix (Most dominating Defense Pokemon ever. It also covers Gyarados' weakness)
2 Suicune (Non Holo)(Prevent Magikarp from being DGed and FTKed. Also works with Double Gust since most of my Pokemon have high retreat)
2 Pichu (It never hurts to play this card. Zzzap Magcargo, Mew, etc)

Energy: 16
8 Water (Main Energy supply of the deck)
4 Metal (Steelix's food)
4 Rainbow (Damage Pokes to increase their respective attacks. Also need to get two on an Onix to Rage)

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm (Drawing)
4 Copycat (Drawing)
4 Pokemon Trader (Pokemon Advantage)
4 Gold Berry (Both of my attackers abuse this card so...yea...)
4 Double Gust (Bench Advantage comboed with NH Suicune)
3 Memory Berry (Attach to a damaged Steelix or Gyarados and clean)
2 Boratia of the City (Get back Energy/Pokemon)

Gyarados and Steelix in the same deck. Yea, it's been done. But the original Drunken Dragons used Aerodactyl (Revelation). So that was 2 Dactyl and 2 Fossil/2 Egg line. So that was at least 6 spaces dedicated to the same idea as using 3 Memory Berry. Sure Memory Berry lasts only one turn, but how many times a game are you going to Flail for more than the damage you do with Dragon Rage. Memory Berry becomes very dangerous with Steelix too. With the ability to deal a max of 110 damage via 100 damage on Steelix and Memory Berry that's pretty scary and comes in handy versus other Steelix decks. The addition of Suicune also gives DD would the first deck couldn't: Easy opponent bench manipulation. Dactyl was plopped on the Bench and DGing wasn't easy. However with Suicune I not only have Bench Protection but also Bench Advantage. So the idea of the deck: Beat the opponent into the ground with Gyarados, Steelix, or both. Use Memory Berry when your Pokemon have a lot of damage to "take the opponent with you", so to speak.

Quick thoughts on three biggest matchups:

Kingdra: Use Gyarados OR Steelix to outmuscle Kingdra. Dragon Rage followed by a Bubblebeam or vice versa can sure make things a tad easier. It does take Kingdra 4 turns to KO ONE of your Gyarados. And by the time they build up Twister, you can almost have another of your Pokes ready to go. I can also just let a Gyarados sit there three turns with one Water Energy and attach a Memory Berry for the OHKO as a last ditch effort.

Magcargo: Well I can attack third turn with Gyarados. If they are set up second turn, then I just play the Non Holo Suicune. Magcargo doesn't use Pichu or Murkrow so Suicune's in no danger just sitting there until I am ready to attack Magcargo. Also, even if they do KO my Gyarados, they have to lose 3 Fire, and unless they got a godly Howl, that will seriously hurt them and leave them wide open for a couple turns of Pichu mizing.

Espeon: Well there are so many versions of this deck. Against Espeon/Light Golduck I would have to abuse the Rage/Flail abilities of Onix and Magikarp. I would also go with Gyarados attacking, with Steelix for backup. Against Espeon/Noctowl, I have to get going fast, and that can be a problem for this deck at times. I think Espeon/Noctowl would be my hardest deck match. But look to swarm with Gyarados or beatdown with Steelix. Flail again comes in handy here.

079 Boratia of the City
Trainer (Supporter)
Shuffle up to 5 Pokemon and/or Energy cards from your discard
pile into your deck.

080 Memory Berry
Type: Trainer (Pokemon Item)
Effect: The attached Pokemon can use attacks of a lower level of
Evolution (But if you don't have the correct Energy attached, you
can't use the attack). At the end of the turn in which this
Pokemon attacks, discard this card.
Uncommon

There are many other big decks, but I am too sick to type out much more, so I hope you have enjoyed reading, and as always, comments are appreciated!

Its an ok deck, but the karp is weak and gets KO'ed all the time. I know because a very similar deck got me 26th in Worlds. Oh yeah, I didnt use Aerodactyl either.
