The Purple Ones Work Best!

4 Gastly (LC)
3 Dark Haunter
3 Dark Gengar
3 Cleffa
2 Mew (Lilypad)
2 Murkrow
1 Tyrogue

4 Elm
4 Bill
4 PKMN Trader
3 Mary
3 Dubble Gust
3 Focus Band
3 Gold Berry
2 Hideout Gym
1 Time Capsule

11 Psychic
4 Darkness

*Fireside chat about deck begins*
Not too many surprises in the PKMN selections.
A 4-3-3 line on the evo works fine with the (15) Draw/Search trainers that are included. LC Gastly can retrieve Darks and has that extra 10HP, so it gets the nod over its Destiny cousin that is currently crying in the hallway. [ROFL]

With the rest of the trainers, I sometimes have second-thoughts about the Hideouts. I hope everyone knows why. 15 Energy works out fine because the only thing that really has to hoard up is Gengar, and if anyone has ever seen Ghostbusters or Casper, you know that its all empty-calories anyway. *deep breathes, calms nerves, be nice foo*

zapdoskid2k2: The Gastly's are reprints of the Fossil version, level 17. The Murkrow is the genesis version. As far as i am concerned, there is no other Murkrow.

RaindanceKing: There is no way in all of Brock's blindness that I am bucking the lone Tyrogue. I expected peeps to suggest increasing their numbers before decreasing them. Every MMF deck should have at least one Time Capsule.

A for the Bosses Way switch; I like the Traders better because they can grab any of the support basics upon their need.

Suggestions from people who have played a game under MMF?

sorry for the lack of sugestionxs from me um.... id drop either the gold berrys or the focus (since its a dark you want the focus because darks are to easy to kill) and with the last three i would put in one more tyrogue and.. one more murk and another dark haunt.. that should clear a few things up. and i have played MMF just because im not a proffesor doesnt meen im stupid.

Steelix is a pain, and usually quite common...and he really can be a pain for this deck. (I've played dark gengar in MMF.)

I'd drop one of the mews for a NR Misdreavus, with gengar on the bench, he can OHKO Steelix, Ampharos, Dark Gengar, you name it...without much trouble.

I'd also drop a darkness energy (only needed with krow, and he only needs one...and if you REALLY need it, you've got gastly.) for another psy energy.

What? They banned slowking?
Good Job. :)

*Updated decklist*

4 Gastly (LC)
4 Dark Haunter
3 Dark Gengar
3 Cleffa
2 Murkrow
1 Tyrogue
1 Mew (Lilypad)
1 Misdreavus

4 Elm
4 Bill
4 Mary
4 Trader
4 Gold Berry
3 Double Gust
2 Hideout Gym
1 Time Capsule

12 Psychic
3 Darkness

Misdreavus had to go in, but 2 might clutter things a little. Because of that change, the Psy energy had to go up too. I cut the Bands for an extra Gold Berry, Mary, and Dark Haunter. I think that you have to max out on either Mary or Teleporter, depending on your luck. Promo Iggly is cool, but without Bands to protect it...... [NoNoNo]
