OK, I made some more changes, and here's the updated list, but I REALLY want some other people to make suggestions, or at least comments!
Pokemon (16): 2 Sneasel (Genesis) 2 Murkrow (Genesis) 2 Electabuzz (Base) 1 Lt. Surge's Electabuzz (Gym Heroes) 2 Tyrogue (Discovery) 1 Scyther (Jungle) 1 Aipom (Genesis) 2 Ditto (Fossil) 1 Cleffa (Genesis) 1 Qwilfish (Revelation) 1 Unown D (Discovery)
Trainers (30): 3 Focus Band 2 Gold Berry 2 Moo-Moo Milk 1 Copycat 3 Professor Oak 3 Bill 2 Oracle 3 Computer Search 2 Energy Charge 3 Item Finder 2 Ecogym 2 Switch 2 Gust of Wind
Energy (14): 5 Lightning Energy 4 Double Colorless Energy 3 Darkness Energy 2 Rainbow Energy
Strategy: This is a Dark/Electric deck with a lot of tech. Sneasel, Murkrow, Tyrogue, Ditto, and the Electabuzzes are my main attackers, with backup from Scyther and Qwilfish. Aipom provides a little bit of discard rescue, Unown D protects against a foe's Dark types, and Cleffa for Draw Power. Trainers focus on card drawing, deck searching, and return from the discard. I have not playtested this particular version, but the last version won me a tournament match for the first time. [ May 28, 2003, 09:25 PM: Message edited by: dkates ]

After going 3-2 at another weekly tournament last night with the above version, I have made a couple of tweaks:
-1 Lt. Surge's Electabuzz -1 Aipom -1 Item Finder -2 Moo-Moo Milk -1 Copycat +2 PlusPower (for a little extra punch) +1 Unown N (protection against Boost Wiggly or Chansey) +2 Super Energy Removal (Slow down my opponents big time) +1 Town Volunteers (Put Pokemon/Lightning Energy back in the deck.) Hope this post isn't too old. Here is the most current version of the decklist. Funny how this deck no longer seems to bear much resemblence to its original version. (Reupdated 6/22)
Pokemon (14): 2 Sneasel (Genesis) [One of my big hitters.] 2 Murkrow (Genesis) [Backup attacker.] 2 Tyrogue (Discovery) [Early-game attacker, stall.] 1 Scyther (Jungle) [Anti-fighting, mostly backup.] 1 Cleffa (Genesis) [Draw Power.] 4 Ditto (Fossil) [My main hitter.] 1 Unown D (Discovery) [Protect against Sneasel/Murkrow.] 1 Unown N (Discovery) [Protect against Metal Chansey/Clefable/Boost Wiggly.]
Energy (14): 3 Darkness Energy [Power Sneasel/Murkrow.] 4 Double Colorless Energy [Power Ditto/Scyther, emergency power for Cleffa/Tyrogue.] 5 Grass Energy [Power Scyther/Cleffa/Tyrogue. Basic Energy type.] 2 Rainbow Energy [Backup Energy, especially for Sneasel/Murkrow.]
Trainers (32): 3 Bill [Simple draw power.] 2 Bill's Maintenance [Also draw power.] 3 Computer Search [Deck searching.] 2 Ecogym [Stadium replacement, protect against opponent's Energy Removals.] 2 Energy Charge [Rescue discarded Energies.] 3 Focus Band [Protection.] 2 Gold Berry [Healing.] 2 Gust of Wind [The usual reasons.] 2 Item Finder [Re-use Trainers.] 2 Oracle [Deck searching/manipulation.] 2 PlusPower [Boost my attacks.] 2 Professor Oak [Major drawing power.] 2 Super Energy Removal [Slow down my opponent, even if Ecogym is in play.] 2 Switch [Emergency switches, heal Special Conditions.] 1 Town Volunteers [Discard rescue.]
Strategy: This deck is mainly based around Sneasel, Murkrow, Ditto, and Tyrogue as my main attackers. I am trying to make this deck as fast as possible, by using Pokemon with 0 or 1 Retreat Cost and no evolutions. As is, this deck can usually attack on turn 1, and I can have one of my main hitters fully ready by turn 2. Trainers mainly focus on drawing, deck searching, and discard rescue. I have not playtested this version.
I would appreciate any comments or fixes. [ June 22, 2003, 03:54 PM: Message edited by: dkates ]
