hey, this is the fire deck i brainstormed from Neo Destiny. its been nearly 6 months since i've been here in the pokegym, and this is my comeback.

please help:

Ashes to Ashes v1.0

Pokemon (20):
3 Slugma (NR)
3 Magcargo (NR)
3 Eevee (NDes)
3 Light Flareon (NDes)
4 Koga's Zubat (GC)
2 Cleffa (NG)
2 Smeargle (ND)

Energy (18):
14 Fire
4 Grass

Trainers (22):
4 Gold Berry
3 Elm
3 Double Gust
3 Nightly Garbage Run
3 Erika
3 Secret Mission
3 Energy Stadium

this deck was designed for the Modified format. if not, i would have included Itemfinders, CPU Searches, and BS Ninetales.

main strategy: unleash fire attacks using Magcargo and Light Flareon. since their attacks need to discard R energy, i put in Energy Stadium. that's the basic strategy. Light Flareon's first attack also works with this deck. Cleffa, Elm, Erika for drawing power, Gold Berry to last longer since i don't have any Focus Bands, NGR for increased energy renewal, Secret Mission and Double Gust for better opponent control. Smeargle was just for support, and since i had 2 of it, and the Koga's Zubat, well, just a countermeasure to the weakness of R, and it could pull off good initial damage (40 max).

i really think you should just stick with 1 evo line. Macargo is superior to Light Flareon IMO. Let's base the deck around this pokemon:
