I am STILL a beginner. I guess my very first official match will be at a Gym Challenge.
Please keep in mind that I am a beginner. Please post whatever you think this deck needs

2 Octillery
1 Misty's Horsea GC
1 Misty's Horsea GH
1 Misty's Seadra
3 Hoppip Genesis
2 Skiploom (1 of each)
2 Jumpluff (Both Genesis)
1 Lapras SI
2 Slowpoke Genesis
1 L. Slowbro
2 Cleffa
2 Chikorita (Razor Leaf)
2 Bayleef (1 of each)
1 Meganium
1 Rocket's Scyther
1 Pichu

Trainers: 13
2 Erika
2 Focus Band
3 Professer Elm
1 Imposter Oak's Revenge
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Gold Berry
1 Pokemon Breeder Fields

Energy: 20
10 Grass
10 Water

My strategy is basically to strike quickly: Get Meganium and Jumpluff out ASAP and wreak havoc.
I have only been able to test this deck out against my brother, and it was ok. He really hated it when I used 2 Erikas then the IOR. [Devilish]

Welcome to the Boards. First of all, focus your deck on 1 type if your a beginner(possibly water). Hav multiples of each card in your deck. For example, do this:

4 Basic Pokemon
4 Stage 1 Pokemon
3 Stage 2 Pokemon

This will make you get your evolution out faster.
then have supporting pokemon such as Cleffa and other solid basics. Have a look round the boards then rebuild your deck and retype it.
