Well, the problem with the first deck is that you're running 2 stage 2ers. I would definently tweak your trainers a bit with stuff like Pokemon Breeder Fields, Copycat, Town Volunteers, maybe some Oracle, trade some grass energy out for Recycle Energy.
The second deck could use the same trainer-updates of Copycat and Town Volunteers, I'd also suggest using maybe 4 Buried Fossil and 2 Fossil Eggs.

I can't stress this enough but running two stage twos doesn't mean that the deck will not run. I have seen many and many 2 stage 2 decks kick major butt. My friend has a meganium/venusuar deck that is so awesome.
