This deck was inspired by OMGyrachu.
Basically the goal of this deck is getting Kabutops out by the second turn or before the opponent manages to evolve into something that can cause problems. This is done by only having Cleffas as the basics. First turn you Eeeek for a Mysterious Fossil/Breeder/Kabutops or cards that search for those specific cards like Oracle/Fast Ball.
Copycat abuses the opponent's hand after you have mulligan'd numerous times. Bill is just in there for kicks, since Professor Elm does not let you play trainers after you use it it messes up Mysterious Fossil and the speed of the deck. Full Heal Energy isnt needed since Kabutops' Poke-body isnt shut off by any Special Conditions. Scoop Up is in there to get rid of Cleffa, because it will be Double Gust bait. Alot of healing is needed to keep the small number of Kabutops fighting.

Very cool concept. I'm enjoying seeing another 'Purity' deck. This one doesn't have that 'sliding off the roof' feeling in the face of developed opposition that has your weakness. I know the idea is to outspeed your weakness, but statistically, even with 'Purity', almost 1/3 of the time the opponent can get out at least one OHKO monster against.
So, do we have a ruling that Breeder gets by the Primal Aura pokebody (While K. is the active, neither player can play ... [pokemon] cards from ... HAND to evolve benched pokemon), or does one just plunk energy on MFossil and bring it active to evolve it?
How would you define 'Purity' btw? Here are some elements I see:
-Pare the deck down to speed and offense. This will mean:
-Focused PKMN, to the extent that you will mulligan.
-Use CopyCat to balance the Mulligans.
[BTW, about 1 in 8 Games I get the mulligan combo with an 8 basic Purity Entei/Magcargo; this one ought to beat that number ;-)]

I dropped three Cleffa. I decided that the space is needed and having more than one is never needed since you will want to get it off the playing field to avoid Double Gusts.
I must've had a block on my head last night... I kept think Kabuto was basic for some reason. Anyways, I think Kabuto would be the best addition to this deck too so if you cant get up on turn two with breeder. Kabuto really should only be played on a Mysterious Fossil if there is a Kabuto in hand (to avoid prize loss).
Breeder will most likely not get around the no evolving Poke-Body. I'll have to sneak into the chat and ask this Thursday.
With Kabuto I added Underground Lake, so I can get them up with Kabutops active. Then you just retreat Kabutops for the Kabuto and evolve. Or you could retreat Kabutops for Mysterious Fossil and then Breeder into another Kabutops.
If there is a damaged Kabutops active, retreat for something else. Then play Pokemon Center.
Or use Scoop Up. Following that, use Underground Lake to retrieve the Kabuto or get another one with Fossil Egg. Then use Town Volunteers to get the Kabutops back into the deck.

Also, hmmm, I really took Purity from the Magcargo deck with just Entei and Cargo for good Howls. This deck, along with Purity Magcargo, centers itself around the deck, not protecting itself from the metagame with cards like Elekid/Tyrouge. So...

Nice deck, I just have a question, can you use breeder on Mysterious fossil? I always thought you could, but some ppl said I couldn't.
ANyways, why don't you play, Underground fossil from Skyridge (I think thats what it is called). It counts as a basic pokemon, and will speedup your deck (^_^).

Q. Pokemon Breeder cannot be used on a Mysterious Fossil, since it is not a Basic Pokémon, correct?
A. It can. It counts as a basic Pokémon while in play. Omastar and Kabutops are Stage 2 Pokemon; you could use Breeder on Mysterious Fossil to skip to them. (May 16, 2002 WotC Chat, Q208 & Q238)
Underground Fossil is a Basic Pokemon which would not insure a Cleffa which is needed to set up quickly.

the one problem that you haven't addressed..............
BENCH HITTERS!!!
all in all, you have 5 basics...... (4 fossil, 1 cleffa)......... so it's insanity-type deck..... but all insanity decks have their issues
you play a deck that can hit those weak fossils before you can evolve them....... YOU LOSE!!!
don't rely on fossil eggs too much, since they are based on flips!!!!
i would suggest having something more to protect you...........
and i'm sorry to say it, but if you don't protect yourself from the metagame with this deck...... you will lose many games!!!
also, if u have 4 kabuto, don't bother playing 4 breeder

Not really a major point in question but Bomie and I spoke to each other about the deck's name, the term 'Purity' as we understood stands for something completely different. Pokemon Center, GB, Focus Band and Stadiums? The deck may be good (probably is) but it's not really as 'pure' as the Entei-Mag deck that you can build now that Oracle's hit the scene...

I've gotten 98 on that Machoke at work game. I beat Driving Corasola.
I almost beat the record in Hold Down hip hop. I got 2000 or so in Kinglers day. I got 7 in Rapadash's dash. Butterfree's Flower Power 4700. 123 In Jumping Dodoro. My all foil deck is finished.

After hearing the latest ruling that you CANNOT lay basic or evolution pokemon when Kabutops is active I believe that this deck just got a whole lot better. If you can get kabutops out fast, the game is almost guaranteed yours. I can bet a few people will try a purity kabutops deck because it will reck havoc on any non grass deck.
