This deck is probably way too teched out to really work well... but I can't resist!
Nocturne in D
Pokémon (19) 4 Eevee (ND) 2 Espeon (1ND/1AQ) 2 Umbreon (1ND/1AQ) 4 Hoothoot 3 Noctowl 1 Tyrogue 1 Wooper 1 Caterpie 1 Cleffa
Trainers (27) 4 Trader 4 Elm 3 Copycat 4 Double Gust 4 Focus Band 2 pokémon Nurse 2 Boratia of the City 2 Memory Nut (AQ) 1 Psychic Cube (AQ) 1 Darkness Cube (AQ)
Energy (14) 8 Psychic 4 Darkness 2 Recycle
Card Translations from Edo's Website:
Espeon HP 80 [Poke Power] Energy Return As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may return 1 Energy card attached to 1 of your Pokemon to your hand. [Special Conditions.] PCC: Damage Blast: 30+ Flip 1 coin for each damage counter on the Defending Pokemon. This attack does 10 more damage for each heads. (No) Retreat P Weakness (No) Resistance
Umbreon HP 80 [Poke Power] Dark Moon Once during your turn (before your attack), if this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon and has any E Energy attached to it, you may look at your opponent's hand. Choose a number of cards there up to the number of E Energy attached to this Pokemon and shuffle them into your opponent's deck. Then, your opponent draws a number of cards equal to what was shuffled in. [Special Conditions.] CCC: Shadow Needle: 30 The Defending Pokemon can't Retreat during your opponent's next turn. -C Retreat F Weakness P Resistance
Boratia of the City Trainer (Supporter) Shuffle up to 5 Pokemon and/or Energy cards from your discard pile into your deck.
Psychic Cube 01 Trainer (TM) P: Psychic Fuse The Defending Pokemon is now Confused. (Attach this card to 1 of your P Pokemon, and discard it at the end of the turn. The Pokemon that this card is attached to may use the attack listed on this card.)
Darkness Cube 01 Trainer (TM) E: Theft: 10 Before damage is done, discard all Trainer cards attached to the Defending Pokemon (Attach this card to 1 of your E Pokemon, and discard it at the end of the turn. The Pokemon that this card is attached to may use the attack listed on this card.)
Strategy: The cubes allow the Eeveelutions to attack more quickly and with less energy while setting up, surprising the opponent (that, and the effects rock!. Memory Nuts allow autosleep with Noctowls (via Hoothoot's Hypnosis), or Smash Kicks with freshly evolved Eeveelutions.
The new Espeon allows you to get energy back to your hand before using a Nurse.
The new Umbreon can shuffle key cards back into the opponent's deck, and the Noctowls can follow up by eliminating any trainers they draw back. The Umbreon may compensate for having only 3 Owls to work with.
ND Umbreon picks off those nasty babies, while ND Espeon is a main hitter.
Boratia of the City, if it survives translation, is going to revolutionize Special Energy decks (along with the new Togetic!).
I know this is stretching things... so help me out!

Hey Lizard,
Hmm...the version of NocLock that I have been testing (which is similar to Marty's) has been really working for me. However, I can see you have a totally different strategy going along here. As I look at the list a couple times I just wonder if you are trying to do too much.
You can definitely cut the Wooper. Lily Mew is better than Wooper vs Magcargo. If they use Holo Entei use Espeon to punish them severely. I would also cut the Caterpie for another Cleffa. There's some of the tecH unstretched. In my experiences I notice a NEED for 4/4 Noctowl. Test the Espeon and Umbreon. I would honestly go with three of the Discovery Espeon and one of the Aquapolis Umbreon.
Ack...I better just stop because if I continue to edit I am gonna rip away your whole strategy. But I would cut the Cubes and the Memory Nuts for more useful, universal concepts such as more Energy and another Copycat. If you do cut the Espeon, cut the Pokemon Nurse and a Band for 3 Gold Berry.
Let me show you the list I would use, but I think I've stepped on your toes, at least strategy-wise...
Pokemon: 20 4 Hoothoot 4 Noctowl 4 Eevee (Discovery) 3 Espeon (Holo) 2 Cleffa 1 Umbreon (Aquapolis) 1 Mew (Lily Pad) 1 Tyrogue
Energy: 16 10 Psychic 4 Darkness 2 Recycle
Energy: 24 4 Professor Elm 4 Copycat 4 Pokemon Trader 4 Double Gust 3 Focus Band 3 Gold Berry 2 Boratia of the City
I really like the above decklist and I know I've wrecked your strategy. Like I said earlier. The strategy is good, but I think you're trying to do too much with 60 cards. I would like to talk about this deck with you so if you are interested you can IM me anytime at XGymbo01X.
Good luck and sweet idea! ~Jim Ferrell [ January 06, 2003, 01:12 PM: Message edited by: Gymbo ]
