Wow...it's been forever since I've even THOUGHT about an Unlimited deck. And I dunno why I am, just to see if I am still Unlimited-esque or has Modified rotted my mind. My favorite card is Rocket's Zapdos and I threw some counters to some of the most popular decks in Unlimited...anyways read on...

Unlimited Ownage
Unlimited Format

Pokemon: 15
4 Cleffa (With everyone playing Lass...yes, you need 4 or you lose your hand...and just cry...)
3 Rocket's Zapdos (Main attacker...Plasma comboed with plenty of other cards in the deck until you're set for Electroburn and just pwn everything...)
2 Grimer (Fossil)(Uh...the best of the Grimers)
2 Muk (Fossil)(Evolve Grimer and end Slowking)
2 Tyrogue (Smash Punch, *heads*, *heads*, game...also useful vs Fighting weak cards)
1 Electabuzz (Baby-killer and just nice accompaniment to the deck)
1 Scyther (Jungle)(Another baby-killer, and just an all around good card)

Energy: 16
10 Electric (Main Energy Source)
4 Metal (Uh...attach and prevent damage from Electroburn)
2 Warp (My Muk's Gusted or Mean Looked? Not anymore...)

Trainers: 29
4 Computer Search (Card Searching)
4 Super Energy Removal (Energy Denial)
3 Item Finder (Card Retrieval)
3 Professor Oak (Card Drawing)
3 Lass (Hand Disruption)
3 Gold Berry (Healing)
3 Gust of Wind (Pick of the opponent's Pokes)
2 Juggler (Set up Plasma and Card Drawing)
2 Town Volunteers (Get back lost Pokes/Energy; anti-decking.)
1 Pokemon Tower (Counter the opponent's Recycles and Item Finders)
1 Teur Chetfleur (Sprout Tower: 'Nuff said)

Strategy: Is one really needed? Get Energy in the discard via Juggler, Computer Search, Oak, SER, etc, etc. Plasma it back up, attach Metal, and own everything. Muk counters Slowking. Scyther and Buzz are support. Cleffa aids vs first turn Lassing. I play 13 Basics...so I don't fear mulligan or FTK action. It's a pretty standard beatdown deck...

Any thoughts?

If you use Warp as anti-Mean look or Gusting, you'll need more. I'd say, since you have so many specials in here, i'd say use the AQ Furret, which lets you put 2 cards in your deck to search for an Energy card, thats right! any energy card!

To make room, drop the scyther, drop the electabuzz and drop the tyrogue.

*gasp* You really CAN win without Tyrogue!

I have a deck, whose record is in my sig, that has never had a Tyrogue in it EVER. How's that for a record?

--------------------
Best Decks
Kurai Tsuki no Kokoro
Dark Ampharos/Dark Espeon
31-7

Kage Ha!
Dark Scizor
8-0

Elm, Oak, Cleffa and Copycat are archetypes.

YGO Deck:
Yukai na Shi ni yotte Ryu
Pleasant Death by way of Dragon
25-8

My have/want list

One Sentence Add-On!

Just because a special energy card is in a deck doesnt mean it is essential to have Aquapolis Furret in it. Besides Gymbo here has enough draw power not to mention the searching power of Computer Search. AQ Furret would be a waste of space and there needs to be alternates to Rocket Zapdos for attacking. In that department, Furret doesnt deliver.
